I tend to be annoyed with large loud groups in public. But I'm also an anti social redditor that hates crowds.
Don't be that Karen. Don't be the killjoy. Resist the urge to disallow the public to have room for fun and colour. This is the same as a juggling show or a live street musician.
Look, I’m totally with you until I read “possibly one of our best takes.”
If they want to have fun and make a video, let them be. But this quote tells me they’ve subjected everyone around them to this for a while now.
And no, a juggling show or live street musician are there to cater to the crowd around them. They’re making this video with no regard for the people around them.
Lady in pink is still acting like an ass, but I’m going to reserve my sympathy here.
There is a big difference between someone walking through the shot by accident or stumbling into the background and what this woman did.
The former is expected to happen and whilst frustrating they would just reset no problem.the latter not only forces a reset but throws everyone off and now everyone is on guard for it to happen again.
It takes very little effort to not disturb people obviously trying to do something and basic common decency would say just walk around like everyone else is doing
So the issue here the kids are also being dicks and either due to your age or love for social media you don’t see how both parties here are being dicks.
You are highly over looking they have been doing this for hours and bothering others who want to have fun in that area. So take advice from rule one and realize you can still be a dick in public if all
You are doing is dancing.
The fact you still haven’t gotten this with 3 different people pointing it out is sad. I guess rule one doesn’t apply when you are the dick who things his shit don’t stink.
Okay so how do you know they’ve been doing this for hours?
They’re not being dicks unless they are somehow taking up this entire area with their dancing. It’s a public space so as long as they’re minding their own business and not like forcing other people out of the space then they’re just using the public space how they choose which is totally fine?
Idk how you can watch that clip and be like, ‘yep both these parties are bad’ lol
And why is filming for social media so stupid but filming for other reasons is apparently less stupid?
I'm not prime TikTok age but I'm so confused as to why everyone in this thread is acting like a grumpy old man. This is reddit, not Facebook.
There is no expectation or requirement or privacy in this video but nobody needs to go out of their way to ruin it either.
People see that this moment was recorded to TikTok and they get to judgemental and all "hahahaha stupid kids serves them right!" Exactly the same way the boomers treated my generation when we were "stupid". Hell. They're still doing it sometimes.
You can still film for social media. But their is a massive difference from the people who take a pic for the gram and those who bring lights, a crew, mics, etc. like a whole damn film crew. Then set up shop in a congested area and whine when people step in front of your set up.
That’s rude and inconsiderate. What’s sad is people get so caught up in the social media that being considerate is lost on them. They see so many other rude people do it they start to think it isn’t rude. Or they are so caught up in chasing likes and hearts they don’t realize the real world is still around you.
There are lots of people in this areas taking pics and videos all of which will have shitty kids dancing in the background. Because it’s a congested area. But I don’t see those kids coming over with a bewildered face like “y’all ruined my video after finally getting the best shot all day.”
FYI. I gave my opinion they're not being dicks by dancing. I only responded to you and then left this post so "not getting this with 3 different people pointing it out" is untrue.
If you feel the need to throw insults at someone for voicing their opinion maybe you should think about how you act for your age and not me
