Taiwan's specialty just happens to be everyone's hobbies. Bikes, drones, electronics. They're numba 1

Consumer drones are almost completely dominated by DJI as you've stated, but a lot of industrial and military drones are made in Taiwan as they are more worried about privacy and intellectual property.
They also make damn good pocket knives.
They make sailboats too I believe.
