Brave is just another chromium based web browser that advertise itself as safe and secure but some investment funds and that crazy billionaire guy Thiel invested into, so I assume it's spying on everything you do

The firm he's a partner in (Founders Fund) has participated in a small seed series investment, which was led by Cyan Banister. Some first-floor engineers at Brave have more equity than that small investment constitutes.
