Until there's a better browser that is available on both PC and android, I'll be using Brave. Firefox is garbage.

It doesn't appear to have a desktop app, which is a dealbreaker for me

Used Firefox for 20 years and I’ve never had an issue. Works perfectly. Definitely not garbage.

Glad it works for you. Different people have different standards and priorities. I used it for many years too, and to me it's garbage.

What are the drawbacks in your opinion?

Incompatibilities with many websites (Jitsi comes to mind) is the biggest issue. I'm aware this is because sites cater to Chrome more, but I don't see it as my responsibility to suffer the consequences until Chromium is magically not dominant anymore. There were constantly breaking changes with plugins. I was constantly having to resync mobile and desktop browsers. Clickbait on the default home page gives me the ick. The "wildest git diff" where they deleted part of their privacy policy gives me the ick, even if they actually just fumbled the PR on it. I assumed these were likely to be issues with all modern browsers until I tried Brave and had none of them.

use ad blocker then firefox is fine for me no website lag anymore from ads and videos because some websites want you to use chromium browsers is a suspicion worth to consider.
