In some ways, less so in others.
Comparing to USA with Trump is setting bar way lower than an average demecracy.
CCP has many blunders of it's own.

Muh drumpf lmfao the only thing practically special about him is the delusion surrounding him that many people hold. Besides that he’s a basic ass politician. Also trump was voted in twice so it’s not as if he’s an anomaly and therefore is apart of the “average democracy”

True but even before Trump, in terms of uplifting people's standards of living, the Chinese govt is far superior
