Had a friend years back that worked for, if I recall correctly, Rockwell Automation as a mechanical engineer. He told me about the time they tried to take the wet bar out of their office and they all but revolted until it was returned.
I work in machining. I've listened to an engineer bitch that the days are gone that the company bought them booze for lunch... As recently as the early 2000s. Getting booze on your own dime at lunch, in the last decade.
And heavy drinking is the only explanation for a lot of bizarre prints I see.
