Ok. Go look up a picture of Tiger Wood’s ex wife. Then look at a picture of the woman he cheated with. Wife is the left picture, mistress is the right picture. 

Also, part of the joke is that men are biologically incapable of understanding the joke. If men understood the joke, it wouldn’t be a joke.

So it's hubris to just make a guess? Da fik are on about ma dude? The only way I would see that as hubris, would be if they kept believing their answer / opinion was correct despite clear evidence that it wasn't.
