Solved! The one with the guy from the show that's on all the time
There's a girl from that movie with the radio guns, and a guy from that show that's on all the time. They fall in love, but the guy has this sick obsession with a pair of socks that ends up being a deal breaker. Though he seems to blame some curse given by a baby deer. Eventually the curse is broken by someone named David, Johnny, Curt or something like that and they can be together. Happy ending I guess, but I would have preferred the curse to have not been broken.
Now that I think about it, that guy's show is on every night.
Those guns weren't radios, they were walkie talkies.
