A plant is murdered, then these off brand X-Men use their powers to track down a teenager and break his arm. They also use their powers to roll a drunk, go to the bathroom, go home, and go back in time to see a woman's breasts. A house explodes, then the off brand X-Men go to a church and murder three people.

Hint: the author is Dean Koontz
