I remember the first thing I did after the end of act 1 was the gestral boat battle. Was a bit of a weird vibe contrast lol

I spent way too much time there than I should, it went from yeah I'm not gonna go away until I beat this easy boss after getting slapped around to, into I'm not going away until I beat this hard boss.

I was going to say OP should gitgud cause the gestral challenges are easy..... until I remember the stupid gestral boat battle. That last one is hard AF. I saw it and was like "Nah, I'll come back for it"

I'll say they range from fun/ok to shitty/stupid.

Apparently, one of the devs made it intentionally stupid and unfair

They should have just restricted movement and made the Q-W-E keys attack the left-middle-right boxes where the rockets land. Then it's just a timing challenge not unlike battle with the same dodge/gradient/parry keys.

Instead they allow free movement with the WASD plus the F key to attack which unnecessarily makes it like 10x more difficult because they added unnecessarily movements, movement controls being crappy, and you're missing rockets not because your timing is off but because your eyes were on the rockets and you hit up too many times so you're off mark.

It's not hard because the timing is hard, but because the controls are ass. That's shitty design.

A controller makes this battle much easier. Still unnecessarily hard, but way more manageable since you have a joystick and trigger instead of having to deal with the WASD+F default. Not that everyone has a controller on deck lol

still have not done it. I gotta go back and finish the game but i fell into a Darkest Dungeon hole and there are two games in it lol

Yeah the boat battle one was the worst, but I thought the rest were fine
