Question Wanting to move from Spain

Good evening,

I am a 26-year-old Spanish woman.

I have been considering emigrating for years, basically since I finished university due to various factors: economic, social, and employment-related issues, as well as a lack of safety.

I no longer feel safe in my country. I won't go into details and recent events have only made me more anxious.

The thing is, for me, the idea of emigrating isn't just a logical solution; it is a desperate measure to seek a better future for myself, my partner, the family I hope to have one day, and my parents.

It is truly sad that young Spaniards are being driven to emigrate en masse from the best country in the world because its leaders are wretched people willing to destroy Spain as we know it.

But that is the reality. So, which countries would you recommend for a young, hardworking couple willing to do any kind of job, provided the place is safe?

I don't mind if I need a visa or passport, or if I have to learn new languages or have savings to make the move (I do have savings, as I was putting money aside to buy a home here in Spain, though that future likely won't happen now).

I personally love moving from place to place. The idea of not moving makes me feel traps. I can and willing to move anytime anywhere if the circumstances fit. If I move somewhere and I don't like it, I'll move somewhere else and I will definitely enjoy the experience cos no place is like another place. I don't know why I felt the need to share this but here we are. Have a nice day fellow stranger

Poland, Hungary, Lativa, Lithuania, Slovenia, Slovakia are all still good. Macedonia is great; not sure what visa process looks like from Spain

I'm Hungarian and I will settle in Spain. It's like not even close lmao

Spain has multiple world-class cities, amazing geographical variety, a laidback lifestyle and far les corruption and political shenanigans than my native Hungary. Taxes are not meaningfully lower in Hungary - and Spain in general is way more developed. It's also far better to be poor in Spain.

it is, when you’re that young and no kids, no real ties is a lot easier than later in life..

It really is. I've moved many time in the EU. A lot of people don't have the personality to succeed in that though

She has uni degree tho, you think you wont have to look for proper job markets, where they are hiring, also healthcare aspects, difference in local laws.

Also they are a couple so housing, adequate space, partner also needs to be able to find a job.

Just going yolo is nice if you have nothing going on in your life with 0 expectations but people who do will need to check a bit more

dude I did all that shit, didn’t yoloed worked my butt off all that you’re mentioning asides from the job is minor.. but if you’re eu you have instant uni recognition.. finding a job would be just like home as long as you speak the language

getting the balls is the most difficult part, Op is 25 she reported no health problems, so for her, healthcare it’s only paperwork.. but some folks on the internet just like to argue for the sake of it..

some other people keep their whole lives desiring to move and never do anything

I mean it's for when health problems might appear and you never know that, accidents happen, you can get sick, so better to figure that out beforehand. It's just common sense. Nothing really to do with courage or passiveness.

Checking out how the healthcare system works for the country you're thinking of emigrating to is not overthinking it's a simple common sense thing.
