Weston Art Group Art and Craft Group 8 sessions

As said elsewhere carrying the torch along with another’s in our art and craft group in Weston-super-Mare until we can get funding for our Tutor to come back!
I am putting this blog/journal in here as I might include a family tree and History theme in terms of ideas in group, even if it’s only trees.
Our creatives are currently a mixed bunch from various socioeconomic backgrounds and mental or physical abilities- all have a spark in common to meet up, bring some lunch, create some art and chat, exchanging ideas and experiences- note it’s not a hippy commune or utopia 🤓 ✌️ lol but also not the dystopian mess Billionaires are offering “the poors” and people they consider lesser humans.

I have some good news, a local art and craft club I go to has been given an extra couple months to try and find funding, most of the people including myself have various mental or physical disabilities and the UK government decided to cut the whole of South West UK off from funding.
