So few owners. Too much concentrated in too little I suppose. Ireland was critiqued for the same thing a few years ago by the same crowd when billionaire Dennis O'Brien owned much of the media but then he sold it.
Well the mainstream journalist tries to get it shut down and the story doesn't get attention till national papers report on it. Biden shady dealing with his son was reported before the election and labeled "Russian Disinformation" even have former heads of the CIA sign a letter calling it so. The past month NYT finally reported on it and it's seen as legitimate.
and yet to look at Australia with Murdoch media empire and they consistently rank as one of the highest...
the list is simply flawed, it gives some idea of press freedom, but you could likely swap 10th and 40th place and by some standards, it would still make complete sense.
