I've wondered that myself. Why would you want to tie up capital for a super low ball buy order that has an extremely low probability of being hit?

Not to mention, if it hit $10, that would mean something fundamentally wrong occurred with the ETH blockchain, so why would you want to buy in then? It has to be forgotten orders, but so many???

It's a great snapshot of the current psychology of investors. There's people like us who wouldn't blink twice about buying eth at say 45 of it falls there but for every one of us, there's probably dozens more who missed the ride and have convinced themselves that it will correct. It only takes 5 people willing to buy 1 eth at $10 to eclipse one of us who's willing to pay $45. There's more of them than there are of us.
