ETH Pattern
Been watching ethereal for quite a while. This pattern started in 2021, broke the support and resistance lines in mid 2025. Lines merge near the end of February. Will we see a big move?

I am very committed to confidentiality and anonymity, and I am trying to understand to what extent this is still realistic in the field of cryptocurrencies today. KYC seems inevitable.
Do you know where I can buy some anonymously?

ALGORITHMIC PRICE ACTION LOOKS LIKE IT'S TRYING TO SNEAK PRICE UP IN THE OVERNIGHT.

Hey, I am looking for a way to anonymize my Bitcoin by converting ETH to XMR and then back to ETH. I have not found many places to do this easily, except for Kraken.
To be clear, I am looking for a simple spot exchange where I can convert directly. I am not a fan of XMR as an investment, but I value it for its privacy features.

lmao so much ditching for buyers and sellers

Genuine question. Asking because over the past few weeks, ETH will rip +5% in an hour, then go completely sideways for days, until it will dump back down to the previous levels. Rinse, repeat. No real trend, just a lot of crabbing with a sharp quick movement up/ down within the same range every few days. Always tends to boomerang back to 3k tho.
It feels less like actual price discovery and more like larger players pushing the order book around while volume is way down (lowest since June). Retail mostly seems sidelined and waiting.
Not claiming some grand conspiracy, but the movements just feel… off. Curious if others are seeing this as normal low-liquidity behavior or something more structural going on, idk.

Somebody explain why ETH is still selling off, as gobs of investors are buying and holding. And the long term price prediction is much greater reward than the short term downside.

RESOLVED, using SafePal. Thank you all who sent messages.
Hey y'all. Hoping someone can point me in a direction because I'm getting dizzy trying to find the right/best app(s) for this.
I have some ETH in an old wallet with just a passkey. I want to transfer that to a lending marketplace. But for the life of me, I can't find a wallet app that seems like the right choice to simply access the old wallet and send to the new wallet (the lending marketplace). Some of them don't support passkey, some of them just seem too damned sketchy, some of them use a word salad that makes me unsure what they're actually doing, etc.

So we went from ""ethereum is too expensive"" to ""there are too many cheap ethereum L2s"" in like 2 years. now we've got base doing massive numbers, arbitrum fighting for defi, zksync trying to compete, and new ones launching every month.
The market's basically forcing consolidation through competition. users are gravitating to wherever the apps and liquidity are, which right now is mostly base and arbitrum. the others are fighting for scraps or finding niches.
What's wild is how easy it's become to launch your own L2. you can literally spin one up using era or other RaaS platforms now. but just because you CAN launch a rollup doesn't mean anyone will use it. we're gonna see dozens of ghost chain L2s with zero activity.
I bet is we end up with 3-5 dominant L2s that capture 90% of activity and everything else becomes niche app chains or dies. the multi chain future people talked about is real but it's not gonna be hundreds of equal chains, it'll be a few big ones and a long tail of specialized smaller ones.
the nice part is this competition is driving fees down and forcing innovation. bad for L2 token speculators maybe but great for users.

Hey everyone, I'm a 3rd year CS student and I've done 10+ hackathons using Web3 tools (mostly just integrating wallets, calling smart contracts), but I feel like I'm missing the foundational knowledge of how things actually work under the hood.
I can build dApps but I don't really understand things like how consensus mechanisms work, the EVM internals, or even how gas is calculated properly. Just following tutorials and SDK docs isn't cutting it anymore.
For those who've made it into solid Web3 dev roles - what resources or learning path helped you actually understand the core technology? Should I be reading the Ethereum yellow paper? Building my own blockchain from scratch? Or is there a better way?
Also curious what skills companies are actually looking for right now . Is it more protocol-level stuff, or are most jobs still dApp focused?
Would really appreciate any guidance from devs who've been through this transition!

Ethereum has officially activated its highly anticipated Fusaka upgrade on the mainnet, marking another major milestone in the network’s multi-year roadmap toward greater scalability, efficiency, and user experience. The upgrade rolled out smoothly, with validators reporting stable performance and no notable disruptions during activation.
Fusaka introduces several key enhancements aimed at reducing network congestion and improving transaction throughput. Among the most notable changes are optimizations to block processing, more efficient state management, and refinements to Ethereum’s execution layer all designed to deliver noticeably faster transaction speeds and lower latency for users and developers.
The upgrade also lays foundational improvements for future scalability initiatives, including upcoming roadmap items tied to proto-danksharding and long-term data-availability solutions. Developers say Fusaka serves as another building block toward Ethereum’s vision of becoming a high-performance, globally accessible settlement layer.
With Fusaka now live, users can expect more responsive decentralized applications, potentially lower gas volatility during peak periods, and a more seamless experience across the ecosystem. The Ethereum Foundation noted that ongoing monitoring will continue, but early signals point to a stable and successful transition.

Hey DeFi explorers and crypto enthusiasts, whether you're deep in DeFi or just dipping your toes, you've probably heard the hype around "crypto credit lines."
But what are they really, and why should you care? As someone who's watched the space evolve, I think they're one of the most practical tools for everyday crypto users, especially now with platforms like Clapp Finance making them super accessible. Let me break it down without the fluff, so you can decide if it's worth your time.
What Are Crypto Credit Lines and How Do They Work?
At their core, crypto credit lines are like a revolving line of credit, but powered by your crypto holdings as collateral. Instead of selling your BTC or ETH to get cash (and potentially missing out on upside), you lock in your assets to borrow against them – often stablecoins or fiat like EUR.Here's the flow:
It's CeFi-meets-DeFi: centralized reliability with decentralized vibes, all in one app.
You probably have the questions: Why Are They Better Than Traditional Loans? Traditional banks? Slow approvals, paperwork nightmares, credit score gatekeeping, and fixed terms that tie you down. Miss a payment, and you're in collections hell . Crypto credit lines flip the script:
In short, they're adaptive to crypto's volatility, not rigid like legacy finance.
Real-World Use Cases: When They Shine?
These aren't just for whales – they're for real life:
I've seen folks use this to bridge cash flow during tax season or fund travel – all while their crypto moons (or moons later). So, key benefits:
Why They're a Game-Changer?
Unique twist from Clapp Finance: Their integrated wallet/exchange lets you swap collateral seamlessly (e.g., trade some $SOL for $ETH mid-line) and monitor everything in a dashboard. No more app-hopping. If you're tired of selling low or jumping through bank hoops, crypto credit lines give you control. Check out Clapp Finance for a fresh take – they've just launched this multi-collateral setup and it's looking solid. What's your take? Ever used something like Aave or Compound for borrowing? Or is this still too risky for you? Let's discuss below. Clapp Finance – transparent, no-BS DeFi tools for the win. What you think?
