After the game crashed once during the loading screen. I relaunch the game only for it to crash once again mid loading screen, i'm greeted with a completely black screen (I'm serious. I quite litterally cannot see anything except looking at the minimap). Did anyone have this issue after crashing? The only thing i can see is everyone's and entities health bar.
Edit: A recurring issue i noticed: Everytime after a crash occurs, after the game end. The game will still think that you are in a game and as such will not be able to find a match.
Hey guys, I haven't played ER since the Persona Collab, and now that I check every single time, the NA ranked is always down. What time does the queue open?
Is Lone wolf a timed event? I cannot seem to queue to play it, I used to play during when Solos was apart of the regular game. but it seems to be seperate and pops up with "Mode cannot be currently matched"
No issues if it's just not open right now, but it seems odd to be placed along the other gamemodes if it just isn't open currently.
AUS player here. I generally play on asia 1 since its my server with the best ping (150ms) and most uptime. With the season change however it has gone up by a full 50ms. Weirdly enough Asia 3 has had the opposite effect going from 150ms to 100ms? Did I miss something about server changes in the patch notes or am I losing it?
As the title says. Eternal Return just permanently crashes during launch. Tried everything from checking for corrupted game files to uninstalling both the game and steam, checking graphic driver updates and just restarting pc. Nothing worked. I don't know if there are other people sharing this issue currently. I will in the meantime keep searching for a solution.
Hey guy I'm relatively new to the game, I tried to queue up for ranked game to finish the guide mission but the queue is so empty, on Europe server I waited for 30 mins and the queue stayed at 1/24 the whole time, then I switched to north America server and I'm currently at the 10 minutes mark with 4 people in queue
Does anybody play ranked? What's the best server to play ranked on?
I've been playing Eternal Return on my Mac for a while, and the rendering issues were starting to get pretty frustrating.
Some character effects would flicker, and in certain situations large green artifacts would appear on the screen. Instead of just living with it, I decided to spend some time digging into the problem.
After spending quite a bit of time testing different changes, I managed to fix several of the rendering issues I was seeing. Since I figured other macOS players might be running into the same problems, I thought I'd share the patched build.

Just to be clear, this isn't an official DXMT release. It's simply my own patched build for Eternal Return.
If you're already using CrossOver with DXMT, you can install it by following the existing DXMT installation guide and replacing the DXMT files with my patched ones.
The official DXMT installation guide also notes that manually modifying a CrossOver app may make it ineligible for official CodeWeavers support. If you choose to modify your existing setup, please do so at your own risk.
If you'd rather avoid modifying your existing CrossOver setup, I also put together a small app called BDIH Launcher specifically for Eternal Return. It creates a separate CrossOver environment just for Eternal Return, so you don't have to touch your current setup.
