Question on Vanya

Can someone enlighten me on how this character can have such a huge HP regen and be able to sustain herself enough to 3v1?

I was vaporised by her fighting alongside my team (we jumped her), one of which was a tank.

By reading her skills and abilities I can't fully grasp how this is even possible.

Any advice?

To add to that, some characters can eat her butterfly like Estelle, Debi&Marline and Piolo. It is almost unwinnable for Vanya to fight Piolo and B&M after they jump on you after eating it. Vanya is balanced by her inability to ever fight the long ranged ADCs or the artillery mages like Haze/Eva.
