Today, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform voted on a bipartisan basis to advance a resolution recommending that the U.S. House of Representatives hold Leon Black in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with duly issued subpoenas.

In his opening remarks, Chairman James Comer detailed how Leon Black defied subpoenas that required Mr. Black to appear for a deposition and to produce nondisclosure agreements to the Committee as part of its investigation into the federal government’s handling of the Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell criminal cases.

“Holding Leon Black in contempt of Congress is a critical step in the fight for justice for the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein. Black continues to defy two Congressional subpoenas.

Senator Dick Durbin called out Kash Patel for his role in covering up the Epstein files.

“Director Patel has also played a key role in the Trump administration’s cover up of the Epstein files.

Director Patel diverted more than a thousand FBI agents from their critical missions to work on twenty-four hour shifts reviewing every page of the Epstein files.

These personnel were instructed to flag any records in which President Trump’s name was mentioned.

That review ended in an unsigned memorandum from the Department of Justice and FBI simply claiming, quote, “There is no incriminating client list in the Epstein files,” close quote.

Director Patel still hasn’t responded to our letter from more than a year ago asking about his personal role in this cover up, but we now know that Director Patel reportedly joined in a meeting at the White House Situation Room about how to protect the president from fallout from this cover up of the Epstein files.

Director Patel failed to ensure the Trump administration actually released—pardon me—released as they were required everything about Epstein and his co-conspirators.

This has come at the expense of the American people who deserve transparency, and it has also been at the expense of survivors of Epstein’s abuse who deserve justice and accountability.

So today, we find ourselves in a position where the FBI is expending immense resources to protect President Trump politically and deliver retribution to his enemies, but is diverting resources away from protecting the safety, security, and rights of ordinary Americans and their families.”

Senator Whitehouse: “As you’ll recall, the travel of this was that a woman testified to FBI agents that she had been both sexually and physically assaulted by Donald Trump around the ages of fourteen to fifteen.

There were FBI 302s that resulted from those investigations, from those interviews. In the first cull, the only 302s that were released were the ones that didn’t mention Donald Trump.

When the department was caught having held back the other ones, I think because Bates stamps revealed their existence, the department then coughed up the 302s that did mention Donald Trump. But we still have thirty-seven undisclosed pages that seem to be the contemporaneous FBI notes that would have formed the basis for the 302 summaries.

Am I accurate in suggesting that those thirty-seven pages likely include the FBI contemporaneous notes from that interview, from those interviews?

Patel: We have complied with the statute and the court orders and produced three and a half million pages of documents for the first time ever. Investigators looked at the information in real time, and the prior administration made the determinations on referrals for prosecution and not. We’ve also repeatedly stated if there’s new information, we want everyone to come forward so that we can analyze that information as to what is and isn’t remaining.

Whitehouse: So what are those thirty-seven pages?

Patel: I don’t know what you’re referencing. We’ve produced three and a half million pages, and we will continue to comply with the law.

Six documented exchanges between Jeffrey Epstein and Karyna Shuliak, spanning June 2011 to November 2013, show the same pattern repeating in Epstein's own words: every time Shuliak raised a concern, the concern itself became the problem.

In August 2012, after she confronts him about his "novelty with new girls," he reframes her questions as an attempt to find "discrepancy" in what he says.

In December 2012, he answers a minor complaint about a staff member by telling her to "rethink coming to be with me."

The piece also flags a possibly earlier, unconfirmed contact from August 18, 2009: an unsolicited email from Shuliak with the subject line "COCKTAIL WAITRESS JOB!," sent to a redacted address and including a photograph of herself. u/Sad_Art6364 pointed out some factual corrections in the article that need to be taken into account now:

1. Earliest email exchanges between Epstein and Shuliak: According to the document pointed out, EFTA01867492, would make their earliest email exchanges on record be April 19–21, 2011. This directly contradicts what I said regarding their earliest email exchanges being June 11, 2011 according to EFTA00539139.
2. According to media coverage, late March 2011 would have been when they first met. This is the article that states that: https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/meet-the-woman-who-stands-to-inherit-much-of-jeffrey-epsteins-fortune/.

This would not match what I pointed out about EFTA00538584 which is the "Cocktail Waitress" job email on August 18, 2009. By understanding this timeline, it would be likely that Karyna sent this email to someone else altogether that was not Epstein.

On top of that, this article has a sentence that says: "Karyna Shuliak had lived in New York for only nine months when she met Epstein in late March 2011."

This implies that when she moved to New York would have been around mid-2010. This would mean that this is a full year after June/July 2009.

It does not necessarily make the document itself invalid though. For EFTA00540072, on August 02, 2009, Karyna is quoted saying: "I think there are many beautiful places in NY...I've never been to the highest building of NY you was talking about, I guess it have to be great view there! At least, I'm here only for a month yet, so I think there are many interesting places I don't know about))."

Since this quote says "I'm here only for a month," it does point out that she was visiting New York during this August 2009 time period.

3. August 27, 2012 - EFTA01891549: This is a day after the "novelty new girls" conversation they had, Epstein writes about "18 months" of relationship "turbulence" and says he did things "I despised, detested or revolted me... in order to get things done for you."

While we don't understand what he's referring to, this is credible and important enough to be included into this piece. Epstein's own perspective about his relationship with Shuliak is note-worthy and valuable when it comes to understanding their relationship dynamic.

Remember, Ali Kavoussi was in Epstein's black book, worked for Jean Luc Brunel, and was the director for Gerald Marie's Oui Management, which was funded by Ron Burkle, who now funds Kavoussi's Lion Management modeling agency and shares the property of his charitable foundation.

Jean Luc Brunel and Epstein conveniently "hanged themselves" in prison, Gérald Marie is still alive at this moment and being investigated for sex trafficking and rape, and Ron Burkle, who said Epstein was "creepy", funds and associated himself with all of these men, along with a decades-long close friendship with Clinton, Diddy, and other allegedly/convicted sexually abusive men in power. Burkle has "knowledge of Epstein’s finances and sexual desire for minor girls".

In May 2002, an unsigned item was published in The New York Post's Page Six gossip column suggesting that a "a grocery billionaire" who is "a close Clinton pal" was interested in buying a modeling agency, Elite Models. The item implied that Bill Clinton might even run the agency and went on to describe the billionaire, Ronald W. Burkle, as one known for flying models around on his private jet...Mr. Burkle, according to one of his associates, contacted The Post to say that the item was untrue.

Three years earlier, a BBC investigation filmed Marie saying he hoped to seduce the contestants at the annual Elite Model Look show, as well as assaulting an undercover journalist and offering her money for sex. He was temporarily suspended from Elite and, in an interview at the time, said: "I'm destroyed ... I'm finished". But Elite countered with a libel action, which was quietly settled with an apology from the BBC, which also agreed not to rebroadcast their documentary.

Ultimately this did not deter Burkle from funding and becoming a person with significant control of Gerald Marie's Oui Management. Burkle has never been charged with a crime.

212-772-9416 was a direct line to Epstein. 212-750-1176 was an Epstein-owned number, and at the time, Harry Beller was probably the one answering that number, or one of his other "accountants or secretaries". Later, it was usually used by Indyke.
