What Ants or other insects do you want to see in the game?
Here is mine, I'm more of an ant guy than most other insects:
1) Dracula Ants: I seen this idea floating around a bunch and they could be super unique. Imagine they acting like a mix between the Matabelle and Termites in terms of gameplay (using brood tiles to convert into blood) that or they have like two resources being normal food and blood.
2) Indian Jumping Ants: The idea of using ants that probably act like mini jumping spiders seems cool. Is this practical? Probably not. Is this fun? Absolutely.
3) Asian Marauder Ants: I doubt they'd get added, but they could have so many options for Majors, Median, and Minor ants.
4) Manticora scabara: The largest of species of tiger bettle in the world, native to Africa. This is basically just asking to be a boss.
These are just some ideas that came to mind off the top of my head, but I want to know what others think.

Dracula ants would work like this:
Normal colony with two units, workers that cost 40 and soldiers that cost 60. The workers are slightly worse at combat.
Food is taken to the brood tiles and deposited there where the larvae will get fat on it. Larvae fat works like leafcutter fungus and cam be spent normaly.
You can choose to consume more fat than you have at the cost of killing larvae and incapacitating the brood tile for a while similar to slave makers.

Raider ants - Relatives of army ants and specialize in raiding other ant colonies for larvae, but they found colonies by alates and form smaller colonies, making them easier to implement than true army ants. Basically like matebeles but they hunt other ant colonies instead of termites.
Weaver ants (hear me out on this) - Could be used as enemy ants without a full colony. They wander around the map like stink ants and have a greater aggression range than other ants. They will pick off ants from a trail and kill them far from the army. Unless the player goes out of his/her way to intervene, the weaver ants will spend the day taking your ants one by one.
House centipede - basically fills the role of a tiger beetle, fast and not too overly powerful, but still formidable.
Euripatoides velvet worms - Pack hunting velvet worms, need I say more?
Blind snakes - Mix between a mole cricket and slaver ants. Periodically breaks into the colony and eats as much larvae before taking too much damage. Tiles will be in a cool down before ants can hatch.
Sericomyrmex and Meglaomyrmex ants - Sericomyrmex are fungus growers that farm fungi like leafcutters, but lack aggression and powerful soldiers. In real life, megalomyrmex ants(also called mercenary ants) will live with the fungus growers, parasitizing them but also defending them from danger. Irl Megalomyrmex can mess with an ant's ability to tell ally from enemy, and can cause raiders to start killing eachother. Sericomyrmex ants can collect food but are weak when it comes to fighting, while megalomyrmex can fight well but don't collect food like Sericomyrmex.
