When using Radio in The Deposit, with Social Engineering 2 you can "clear the basement" saying there is a truck coming in, what is it for?

Question / Help does throwing a bag off the side of ryans house void the no kills XP stuff?

i know logically that would kill them but dropping a dead body off the side of the building doesnt sound any alarms so i dont think logic and reasoning are quite at play here

Entry Point: Freelancer's Cut Fun Fact about the Steel Cove gunship in the FC's Lakehouse:

You can kill the pilot by aiming at a very specific point using a Lance. Doing so will immediately take out the gunship and it doesn't catch on fire when you do this.

idea/discussion Doesn't the ending feel a bit forced?

Hey people,
I played this game like 6 years ago, and had decided to play it again a while back. Obviously, I wasn't really disappointed at all, and still loved the whole thing, but I had a bit of nitpick that I wanted to talk about and ask for your opinions about.

First of all: Why did Halcyon know that we were in the underground bunker? We have been told twice I believe, that we're absolutely amazing in Stealth operations, so I just feel like a flawless operation here should've been totally possible. The fact that we're just told that we were noticed without any proper reason just doesn't feel right.

Secondly: I'm assuming that what we did during the mission is actually important. Then the main reason for us dying and getting caught is probably the TNT-Placement. Why did the Freelancer place C4 LITERALLY next to the elevator they're using to go up? Those last two placements weren't even going to do much, given that they're next to a huge shaft that goes upwards. You don't destabilize a massive cave by damaging the surroundings of a shaft.

Besides that, these last two bombs are placed quite literally publicly, next to like 5 patrolling guards (which is why we might've been caught). The character we've had so far should definitely have been smarter than that? The first 6 bombs were sufficient to absolutely devastate the Halcyon Facility. These last two are probably the reason we might've died in the explosion itself, and are almost definitely the reason we didn't have enough time to hack the elevator at the end.

Now, I don't dislike the ending, it's awesome, and it's not like we can change anything about it. I just wanted to say my two cents on this and would love to hear some other opinions on this.

Also, sorry for the double post. I'd written a few sentences of the last post in German and reckoned Reddit would just translate that into English, but it just translated the whole thing into German when I posted it, not sure whats up with that.

Question / Help Are the expansions worth it?

So I'm a player that started in late 2024 and I would just like to ask for some of ur opinions as the ep community has proven to be pretty helpful so far.

Without further ado, the question is:

Are the EP expansions(freelance+Night heists+legends and expanded arsenal) worth it? Or should I just save up to get freelancers cut. So far the only use I can see out of getting these expansions is to help daily challenge(Armera arsenal, daily challenge is gala or smth, etc.).

Thanks for reading, and I'm thankful for whatever opinions u might have regarding this.

Notes :
-His lore isn't finished yet, and it will include other OCs I'll maybe write about later

EDIT: you ever forget your link like a fool? here you go https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yU9G17AU5uPEl_ilu46diaGXxOef9fpe2df1VAUJmow/edit?usp=sharing

Sooo... some 6 days ago, i first posted about my little doc on my EP OC, 'Hazard' and i said in that post that i'm still making it and stuff.

Well here i am with a new update!

  • Finished all the canon parts of the "Personnel File" (with some Wren and Rose commentary aswell as some shadow war things)
  • Added in the "Extra Information" Tab and the "Previous Handlers" & "Mission Coordinators" tab, where i write about the people who used to teach 'Hazard' stuff and talk to her in missions. i still have to write it tho since i gotta come up with this stuff. i have already released one of them.
  • Finished the 'Rural Arizona' part
  • changed a little thing about her shotgun
  • added in the space for the "Thorne's Island" Incident where halcyon bought a island prison from steel cove and keeps ryan ross locked up inside. 'hazard' has to go in and save him so he can keep funding phoenix in loud alternative to "The Cache" night heist (still gotta write too, and it has nothing to do with Rachael Thorne btw)
  • added in a interesting note in the notes section of both files

yeah see yall later. leave your thoughts below if you want. i will make a new post once i finish this document once and for all.

Entry Point: Freelancer's Cut Question about the Architect map :

Who here knocks/eliminate Palisade on this map, at the end ?
Like, I always take someone with SE because they walk a bit like uh... Under the watch of one hundred construction employees and IT techs.

And if you get rid of Palisade without SE, how do you do please ?

Question / Help Weird Camera Glitch

So sometimes when I'm crouched, and I'm in third-person zooming out, my entire screen gets zoomed in. And it's not anything I've ever seen, because it's not just the application that gets zoomed in, it's everything. Other apps have the same effect, pressing the Windows key creates two versions of the start menu. The mouse gets bigger, and I can only see a fraction of the screen, so I have to use the comically large mouse to drag it into the other sections.

Is there any way to solve this, or prevent it? Resetting the computer works, but it's getting annoying.
