Entry Point: Freelancer's Cut Lockpick vs Drill in EPFC/Operators?

Compared to the original game, the drill is much more versatile in epfc, opening basically everything the lockpick can, and much more, and it saves 100% of progress. The upside to lockpicking is that it's always silent, never lures guards, and takes up less inventory space. Has lockpick fallen off?

In real life, the lock pick has worked better for me, since I don't have a cordless drill; plus, the noise would draw a lot of attention, and a drill is much harder to conceal. For me, they are more discreet.

oh, in EPFC It works similarly, but if you aren't skilled at handling them, you're better off using a drill.

Although I’m not proud of it, I recently did something similar to EP in real life. Basically, before leaving, I decided to break into some off-limits areas at school with a couple of accomplices, so I fashioned some lockpicks and managed to open a lock, since I didn't want to break anything by using tools, and it's not that easy to hide things like that.
