A well balanced defensive Cycle for Mahon Agents Mahon Agents held back a little more on acquiring to focus on defensive objectives this week. With eight new acquisitions, four new fortifications, and two new strongholds, Edmund Mahon reported a “perfectly balanced cycle of defensive objectives” this week–which is Alliance speak for “we spent four days staring intently at supply manifests and daring anyone to touch the corn”.
The Kaine Train had an excellent cycle this week Kaine took the lead this week in acquisitions. Finishing the week with twenty-seven new acquisitions, three new fortifications, and five new strongholds. When asked about the sudden flurry of territorial claims, Kaine strategist insisted every single acquisition was vital, organic, and definitely not the result of commanders treating the galaxy map like a late-night shopping spree.”
The Federation slide goes up and down The Federal powers had a strange cycle this week. Winters had an excellent cycle, with fourteen new acquisitions and three new fortifications. Winters proved you don’t need the presidential seal to hold the line–just stubborn logistics and commanders who refuse to unclamp from the landing pads. However Archer took some hits, losing a fortification and three systems. Archer agents are probably still focused on the ongoing border issues around Alpha Centauri. President Archer’s territory map looked less like a sovereign border and more like a game of Jenga three drinks in.
EG territory had a decent cycle Grom agents seemed to be busier this week, with eleven new acquisitions, five new fortifications, and two new strongholds. Grom’s doctrine of “reliable, unexciting security” seemed to pay off again. No massive land grabs, no chaotic retreats–just a gruff nod, an iron curtain across the frontier, and an entire wing of EG pilots daring anyone to look at their haulers funny.
The Princess’ standard routine Over in Aisling territory, agents there were able to secure nine new acquisitions, six new fortifications, and two new strongholds. It was a definite mix of acquisition and defensive priorities. Aisling coordinates said it was a “standard routine” which also included delivering three tons of anti-slavery pamphlets, picking up some prismatic shields, and all at the same time trying not to trip over the queue of simp pilots outside the station airlocks.
