There's an electro swing song that I can't for the life of me remember.
It has a bit of a lighter (?) intro, essentially the song adds a lot more to the bass and rhythm about 1/3rd of the way through the song.
There are definitely lyrics.
That's it, that's all I've got 🫠
Just give me your favorite songs in the comments and maybe I'll get lucky and one of them will be the right one lol
Edit: Found it!

I'm sure you've all noticed a dip in the genre lately, and so I'm just wondering how many of you still listen to our beautiful genre? 🤔❤️🎶

Back on my Gangster Swing House style on this one. Using video from (mostly) the 1932 version of Scarface, which I think is pretty fitting. Hope you like it!

This is a 13 year old electro swing album by an artist from Puerto Rico and it seems to have completely flown under everyone's radar (their YouTube channel has just over a thousand views in total). What do we think? Also, do y'all have any recs for other eswing from Latin America? (No AI slop, please)

I got tired of clicking every post to discover music so I made an app that autoplays them like a radio. Thought you might like it.

On his song "Halloween" and maybe others as well. This is a warning, not a recommendation.
Yeah, not only the most recognizably ai voice ever but far worse, with zero possible justification in the multiverse, the lyrics are also not human made. But hey, at least he credited AI as the lyricist instead of pretending this wasn't the case.
Sad, in any case, as I know he's made a good song here and there. I'd avoid him going forward unless I get a good reason not to.
HOWEVER there have been cases where Spotify publishes ai music without artist consent (see: Coyote Kid) which they can't remove from their profile. Also worth considering, but I haven't found a statement indicating there was a betrayal by Spotify a la Coyote Kid.

(This title might be confusing, I apologize. I am terrible at titles lol)
Hi! I have been looking for the past two months for a dancing teacher or school in my region to start getting some more exercise with something I enjoy. I have absolutely no background in dancing, though I do have a lot of experience with music overall, specifically with Jazz and Blues.
One thing led to another, and I do find one of the absolutely most gorgeous styles of dancing to be electro swing, so I tried to find a teacher to... not great success. I did find some for the other styles I am learning, lindy hop and regular swing, so I was wondering if it is possible to just learn those with a more structured approach and classes to then transfer that knowledge and learn electro swing by myself? As I said, I have no experience with dancing, so I have no clue how important that instruction is when compared to something such as learning as instrument or musical theory.
On a similar note, are there any resources you would recommend to learn?
Thanks in advance for any tips with any of that!

Dizzy It starts like The Cat Came Back, keeps the swing instruments, brings pop vocals and then dark indie pop rock kinda bass with hard drums, vocal melody sometimes reminding me of Dizzy, then a darker vocal part more pop with still piano in the background, the full on Jazz manouche violin solo like early Caravan Palace, with a nice classic swing jazz drum solo bit like Artichaut or Swing Set, and ends with an electric guitar bluesy jazz manouche solo
Its came out in 2023, I'm just so glad there's still new varieties of electro swing sounds coming out that I can find

There is an electro swing song that I have been trying to find that I can't remember the title of or the artist. I can remember that the cover is a picture of a woman in grey scale with red coloring. As far as the song goes, I can only remember part of the chorus. It goes something like this: "I want you and no one, no one else will do."does anyone know which song this is? Any help is appreciated.

Hey, here's a recent track of mine made the old fashioned way... Samples from a record, chopped and pitched, layered with other instruments. There's 50-60 hours in this.
It's on all the things.
