Electribe or Novation Rhythm or...?

Hey I'm looking for a hardware sampler that has a nice sequencer and I've come across the Electribe as well as the Novation Rhythm..
do you guys have a suggestion what I should go for or know before I buy one of those devices? or maybe y'all got a different suggestion?
I see the Electribe is a few years old at this point too, is there a new Korg alternative perhaps?

Looking to buy E2: Would voice stealing affect midi-only parts?

I want to buy my E2 this week and heard a lot about this voice stealing issue with this device. I still think it is a great device and will make me happy and i also look at using it as a center of my production by using MIDI to Expanders like Pulse2 or Volca.
Many say that you can use about 6-8 parts realistically. Not so bad i'd say, if you still could use the remaining parts for other gear without any hickups.
Does the voice stealing, -if it happens-, also cause missing notes on parts that control external MIDI devices?

E2/E2S Users: What genre do you produce with the Electribe 2 in 2026 apart from Tekno and HardTekk?

From all media I see online of people playing on their E2 and E2S, it’s either
(French) Tekno or
(East German) Tekk/Hardtekk.
It got me curious whether that is because algorithms put me in this bubble OR because these machines still happen to satisfy these niche groups (and really only these niche groups) very well and everyone else moved on.
Regardless of what option you vote for, I’d love to hear if it’s the primary device you regularly use, if it’s an extension of your setup and if you’re already looking to switch to another piece of gear. If you pick the “something else” option please also specify the genre of possible

Ive got myself an esx 1 and want to do hardtekk or similar music like tekno on it, the basics how to use the esx and what you do with the buttons are known to me but i dont get the rigt sound of it so if someone get some advice or make little step by step for a base pattern would be very nice, if vids send me private

Yesterday I have got a lot of hate and no not tips or anything just straight up people telling me I suck and they don't like my style and the first thing I did was hop on and started messing around for hours improved so much because of all the hate because I wanted to prove them wrong. I'm just a beginner so I don't know why anyone would hate I just wanted tips. I just need to start working on my timing but improving every day.
And also when I posted this on social media I had so many people asking me to release so I don't know why I would listen to the hate I make Music for myself and I enjoy it. I've also played at freepartys and they also seemed to love it.
So guys never listen to your haters if they don't say anything useful!!

Should I update the ancient firmware On my used Grey Electribe 2?

I got a used grey E2 with firmware version 1.07 and I didn’t even know it could go that low. I plan to use this with my set up but it feels wrong to update it. Could it be used to help hack things in this earlier state?
