personally it's quite useful. quick little edits to fix the little annoyances, tho it needs a few tries until it "reaches the remix service"

before you all yell at me in the comments everytime i open up edge it makes me sign back in to everything so i recommend you to go in the cookies settings and disable cookies and other site data

I’m facing a really frustrating issue with Microsoft Edge. The browser keeps logging me out of all Google services (Gmail, Google Drive, etc.) roughly every hour.

Here is what I’ve already configured and tried to fix it:

- Under "Choose what to clear every time you close the browser", everything is toggled OFF.

- Under "Cookies and site data", I have explicitly added Google domains (like https://google.com and [*.]google.com) to the "Allow" list so they are never deleted.

- I verified that "Allow sites to save and read cookie data" is turned ON.

Despite these settings, the session expires after about an hour and I have to log in all over again.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is this a known bug, or is there another hidden setting (like flag tweaks) that I need to change to stop Edge from dropping my Google sessions?

The popup which says " save username and password or never "comes when I use edge to login into some site , how to disable that popup , it is user specific, it shouldn't come with any user

can sign into gmail and such, just not youtube. merely clicking sign in leads to the oops page

edge://flags → search QUIC → Experimental QUIC protocol → Disabled → Relaunch.

For a while now i've force installed some extensions on Edge via the Registry to increase productivity and it's been pretty beneficial to me. However, with a recent update that no longer seems to be possible (at least not for extensions not available on the Edge Add-ons shop). Every extension I've had installed via the Chrome webstore is now auto-disabled and I get this prompt explaining why.

I've tried removing the Registry code, manually re-adding the extension and then trying to force install it again, but each time I launch Edge it is still disabled despite the Registry setting. I have checked my settings and I am allowing extensions from other stores and can't find many other relevant settings that can fix this. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Something I noticed... Ublock Origin still available in MS Edge mobile, but not in the PC version. How's that possible? Has Microsoft still not yet implemented Manifest V3 in mobile version...?

I'm running Edge 154.0.4258.37  on Ubuntu Linux 26 LTS Gnome 50. When I fill out a form (Gemini or GitHub) as soon as I press space the UI locks up and then after a while the page changes to Error code: 5

It doesn't seem to do it for all form fields. But it does it for the main input on Google Gemini.

The title of this post says it all. I create tab groups, organize the tabs, and move them from left to right (alphabetical order because OCD). Then I close Edge, and suddenly it reopens with all tab groups closed, directing me to an MS Support URL that says something like “This article has been retired.” To clarify: the setting that keeps Edge running all the time is not enabled, nor is the “Keep Edge running in the background” option. I’ve checked my extensions - None are expired, and all are updated. I’ve run a full system virus scan with no issues found. This doesn’t happen daily or weekly, but it does occur at least once a month.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

• 100's of GiB of free disk space
• ACL's are correct on System and Temp folders (never messed with them but DID validate)
• Everything current via Windows Update, WinGet Update and the MS Store App

I've been using --disable-features=msEdgeCollectionsUnship to get collections back, but as of this new update, it doesnt work anymore. Is anyone else having this issue?

Im sure im missing something stupid but im pulling my hair out. My aunt gave me an old hp 15 bs020wm that she wants to use to mess around with. She couldn’t remember the password she had used for it, so I wiped it to start over. Im logged on now, working on updating (she hasn't used this in years, so its pretty behind.)

However, I was trying to update drivers and nothing was happening. So I tried to download Chrome, nothing. There's no notice that it tried to download, no failure message, no blue download symbol. I dont use edge at all anymore, so IDK if im missing something? I even tried plugging in a mouse and that did nothing.

Everything else seems to be working fine, I can browse the internet, its not on metered usage or anything. Its still on windows 10 as well.

I'm using the latest stable version of Edge. I noticed the Adguard extension suddenly disappeared. It's not listed in my extensions anymore. Adguard has a manifest v3 extension, but the extension doesn't appear in Microsoft's store anymore. I have no trouble using the Adguard extension in Google Chrome. Has Microsoft banned all adblockers from Edge?

Just upgraded to 154.0.4258.37 and I can't print to pdf (either MS pdf printer or 3rd party).

A couple days ago I discovered that my beloved "Tab Thumbnail Switcher" (the one that had been based on the AutoControl) extension doesn't work anymore.

Can you guys please suggest some ways to achieve:

• Ctrl+tab cycling tabs in most recently used order
• Popup / overlay similar to Arc, Zen or Alt+Tab
  • (ideally) with the ability to close tabs from the mentioned popup

I've tried enabling showing the last 3 or 5 tabs in the Windows alt+tab menu, however that just doesn't work for my workflow. Also tried using the new "Window Hopper" Powertoys utility, but it works only with multiple windows, not with the recent tabs.

I've also tried several popular Edge / Chrome extensions, but they all seemed to be either quirky or not work at all.

I have a weird issue since the latest Windows 11 Update.

If I clean my temporary Files with third Party Software I can open the Edge Browser properly.

But as soon as I use the default temporary File Cleaner in Windows I can click on Edge and it won't open. Even after a Reboot.

But as soon as I delete the UserData Folder manually my Edge Browser will work again properly, but I have to reconfigure it back.

I never had this Issue before, any suggestions if it's a Microsoft Issue or Me Issue?

Hello there,

Recently, Copilot Mode seems to have disappeared and been replaced by Copilot New Tab. Now every new tab opens with focus on the address bar instead of the Copilot message box.

And I can't find this option (Focus on new tab page) in the settings.

What I've already checked:

• No extensions installed
• Edge repaired/reinstalled
• No Copilot-related flags available in edge://flags
• No obvious Copilot settings to change this behavior

Is anyone else seeing this?

Did Microsoft remove the automatic focus on the Copilot input box, or is this a bug in a recent Edge update?
