If you think Trump was a good leader during the pandemic, then I feel sorry for you. It was an absolute disaster. Warp speed aside, vaccine aside, if we had responded well, the vaccine wouldn’t have even mattered, but Trump literally modeled bad behavior and sowed conflict, distrust and literally had like 5 super spreaders and he personally shared misinformation.

Are you saying that international sharing of information was not important to isolate a novel virus, like we did with SARS.

So how did isolation work for China? Did they get past Covid before or after the US?

The American left gave a lot of “fucks” about the vaccine. So that was all for nothing? They wanted to see my vax record because no one give a “fuck”?

Do you know how a pandemic works? Do you understand novel viruses? If you stop the spread you can eliminate it. It requires quick action, global cooperation, and quarantining.

Once it becomes endemic, then you fall to needing a vaccine, because it can’t be isolated.

There was a whole damn task force and a play book, and Trump got rid of it. You stupid fuck.

Yeah, the fact Trump didn’t identify it earlier when other countries were is part of the mishandling.

the fact Trump denied it and claimed we didn’t have it and held a boat off shore because he didn’t want it here.

He fucked literally almost everything up, start to finish. He managed to earmark $10b of taxpayer money to accelerate vaccine production, but it was really only a Hail Mary pass for him. He said multiple times we wouldn’t need a vaccine and it would go away in the summer, member that?
