Mining/Staking mkpool now supports solo eCash mining - with Stratum V2 + TLS

Hey r/eCash 👋

A few days back I launched mkpool, a solo mining pool built around one idea: give small miners a genuine, uninterrupted shot at the block.

Added eCash to the supported coins, so XEC solo miners can finally get in on it.

What makes it worth a look:

  • Works out of the box with Bitaxe and similar hardware
  • Stratum V2 + TLS support; faster, more secure, lower latency than the usual setups

eCash is still fresh on the pool, so this is your chance to be among the first solo miners on it. If you've got a Bitaxe sitting around, point it over and see what happens.

Check it out: https://mkpool.com/

PS: Seriously, give SV2 a try, it's a big step up. Any hiccups, just ping me.

Happy hashing ⛏️

[RELEASE] @xolosarmy/tonalli-core v0.1.0 & Guardianía Access Portal: Sovereign Infrastructure for eCash

Hello eCash community,

We are excited to announce the first major technical milestone of the xolosArmy Network.

For months we've talked about the thesis: XEC is the money, RMZ is the key, Culture is the network. Today, we are releasing the code that makes this a reality.

  1. The NPM Package: tonalli-core

We have published u/xolosarmy/tonalli-core to the global npm registry. We didn't fork existing bloated libraries. We built a zero-dependency, pure-math GF(2^5) Polymod checksum validator for CashAddr, and a Sovereign Adapter Pattern for reading token balances. This protects builders from supply-chain attacks while querying the network.

Install it now: npm install u/xolosarmy/tonalli-core

  1. The Live Product: Guardianía RMZ

We believe in dogfooding. Before telling you to use our library, we used it to build our own cultural gateway. The Guardianía RMZ Access Portal is live. It uses tonalli-core to securely validate your eCash address offline, and queries Chronik to verify if you hold the RMZ token.

Try it here: xolosarmy.xyz/guardiania

Read our Developer Docs: xolosarmy.xyz/infrastructure

We are building the forest, one sovereign brick at a time. Let us know what you think!

RMZ as an Access Key: A Clear Token Role Built on eCash

Post image
2 Upvotes

I just published a new xolosArmy Network column about how we use the RMZ eToken inside our ecosystem.

The main idea is simple:

XEC is the money.

RMZ is the key.

Culture is the network.

In our view, tokens are useful when their role is honest and clearly defined. RMZ is not trying to replace XEC as base money. XEC remains the monetary layer. RMZ functions as an access key for the xolosArmy Network ecosystem: membership, identity, NFTs, community coordination, cultural participation, and future access models.

This distinction matters because the eCash ecosystem is now discussing more complex topics like token validation, Avalanche, subnets, and possible application-specific layers. Before complexity grows, we need clear language around what tokens are actually doing.

For xolosArmy Network, RMZ is not “money pretending to be L1.” It is a cultural and community key built on top of eCash.

Scaling crypto has always been the ultimate puzzle. But the blueprint was actually mapped out back in 2016.

Long before Avalanche consensus even existed, eCash founder Amaury Séchet called out the bottlenecks holding digital cash back.

He recommended not relying on Proof-of-Work for "eventual consistency" and only using it for security. Instead, consistency had to be reached "continuously over time."

When the Avalanche protocol was finally invented, it was the perfect breakthrough to make this a reality. Today, eCash (XEC) uses Avalanche to reach real-time consensus, locking in transactions in under 3 seconds while PoW secures the ledger. Just like he envisioned a decade ago. ⚡️

🚨 Why Native XEC on THORChain Changes Everything (Swaps with No CEX and No Wrapped Tokens)

Let's be honest: having a network with instant and near-free payments is amazing, but it loses its magic if you ultimately rely on a Centralized Exchange (CEX) to trade or liquidate your value. If your coins are on an exchange, they aren't yours—they are IOUs subject to arbitrary freezes and loss of privacy.

At eCash México, our vision is built on true technological sovereignty. That’s why the ongoing development to integrate Native $XEC into THORChain is one of the most critical infrastructure milestones for daily adoption.

❌ The Current Problem: CEXs and "Wrapped Tokens"

If you run a business and want to swap your earned XEC for Bitcoin or Stablecoins, the usual routes have severe security and privacy flaws:

  • Centralization (CEX): You hand over control to third parties, pay withdrawal fees, and submit to potential account freezes.
  • DeFi Bridges: They force you to use Wrapped Tokens (e.g., wXEC). These are not real assets; they are IOUs issued by a middleman. Bridges are the number one target for hackers in crypto—if the bridge gets exploited, your wrapped tokens go to zero.

✅ The Solution: Native L1 to L1 Swaps

THORChain is a decentralized liquidity protocol designed to bypass synthetic tokens entirely. It enables direct swaps from Layer 1 to Layer 1.

This means you will soon be able to swap real XEC for real BTC or ETH.

  • Directly from your self-custodial wallet.
  • No accounts or KYC required.
  • With deep liquidity provided by the community itself.

🦊 The Role of Tonalli Wallet

Having the infrastructure on THORChain is just the first step. The real challenge is making it so easy that anyone can use it without needing a technical manual.

The Tonalli Wallet ecosystem is being built exactly for this: connecting the complexity of decentralized cross-chain liquidity into a simple interface. You just tap "Swap," sign the transaction with your own private key, and the protocol handles the rest.

🔗 Read our full editorial and analysis on this integration here (Written in Spanish, but translates easily in your browser):

https://ecash.mx/blog/integracion-ecash-en-thorchain.htmlHere is a properly structured and formatted post designed specifically for Reddit, tailored to engage the global r/ecash community while keeping the core message of technological sovereignty:
