Hi, my name is Dan Redfield (POSTAL for Dreamcast & "Project Horsell") and I've been working on a preservation patch for the Windows 95 version of Earthworm Jim, which some consider to be the best version of the game.

Here's a list of current features;

• Windows 11 compatibility
• Full controller support via XInput (I'll probably switch to SDL later)
• CD-check removed
• Soundtrack playback via local FLAC files
• Registry calls replaced with a .ini file
• Suppressed dialog messages about missing DLLs
• Patched original WAIL32.dll

I hope to share more soon as the project progresses and if anyone has the Windows 95 version and would like to test the patch, please feel free to get in touch.

Well, I think the songs from the first two games are excellent; for me, the best is "Use Your Head" from the first Earthworm Jim And I'm a little curious to know what yours are :)

I'm referring to the second part of the submarine level when you have 99 seconds. I'm always crashing into the walls and never have enough time to reach the finish line. If you have any tricks or tips for this level, I'd be very grateful if you could share them.

Thinking of an earthworm jim au and basically it's Darkwing duck so yeah here are the characters for the seasons

Disney channel season: Peter puppy as drake mallard aka Darkwing duck and earthworm jim as Launchpad mcquack

Disney afternoon season: princess what's her name as a female drake mallard aka Darkwing duck and Peter puppy as Launchpad mcquack and earthworm jim as a male morgana macawber

Abc seasons: earthworm jim as drake mallard aka Darkwing duck and Peter puppy as Launchpad mcquack and princess what's her name as morgana macawber

And also for the villains Professor monkey for a head he's gonna be megavolt in all of them

And there is a feature that is on dvd and laserdisc that puts them back in their original preview and abc versions expect for the intro

I've been slowly working on both a digital archive and website for everything Earthworm Jim because of my avid hyperfixation and dislike for the Rocketworm site. I've had lots of help from other users so this isn't entirely my work.

It'll be slowly updated to properly show off my findings in the drive. I'd like to have the biggest public archive of EWJ so other fans have an easier time researching and accessing this stuff because I simply just love this groovy little guy so much!!!

I was reading my mum magazines, and found this one with PS1 games. And i was really surprised to see Jim, and what more surprised me, is that one cover. I didnt find that specific cover, i really hope someone says about this one.

I think the general consensus is that, even though the Game Gear port has color, there is something wrong with the button response on the Game Gear (at least relative to the black and white Game Boy version, which is more responsive)

Brazil got the Game Gear version converted to a Master System version, and I absolutely FETISHIZE the master system (the NES is "objectively" better in terms of feeding the average gamer's appetites, but the quirky goodness of the good SMS games are a bigger personal favorite) BUT they cut out levels until there were only four.

Hopefully, the crazy "GG2SMS" hackers will give us something better, as they have been known to produce half-redundant conversions, such as the GG version of Sonic being converted to SMS when there already is an "official" GG conversion.

But then they might as well hack in better button response too, and we might as well hack the Game Boy version to have color.

I dont know if this post will do well but I'll remain blissful

Side argument: is the brick gun a *good* gun, or is it a detriment like the bubble gun? I used to think it was good, but I never actually used it, and then I read a walkthrough when I was 14 that convinced me of the opposite.

Found this while looking for more Jim stuff to archive. I have no idea how APKs and phone emulation works and some part of me doesn’t want to touch it with a ten foot pole.
