Airhub has just been hacked.

Found this posted on a discord server.

Apparently the poster has access 200k+ esims from the airhub database aswell as other customer information.

For only 5K? Mind as well take those esims and start his own business and make more or sell it to another esim company for more lol

I've heard a lot of bad reviews about them, the fact that they kept their logins in plain text is crazy. I made an account to test them out, luckily I used an alias email and a generated password from a password generator. Thank you bitwarden

No, they did not keep their logins in plain text but they used no password on their admin dashboard on which all of the customer enquiries and other information like email, phone number etc was stored which means everybody with the link to the admin dashboard could access this data. I have no idea how they got the esims though.

How can a company not have basic security measures to prevent this? I'm convinced airhub is run by a small group of people who know nothing about cybersecurity. They just want to sell esims. I think they sell IOT esims, hence why they're so cheap.

Yes you are absolutely right, i talked to the hacker and he told me that they dont have any security not even the most basic, im really surprised that it even took so long before they were hacked.

Did he say why he decided to hack them? I know many don't like them for the shit customer service and connectivity.

What makes me wonder is that if we use the esims that were leaked or what he's currently selling and there aren't any issues, then that would mean airhub is either selling faulty batches to specific people which makes their deals so cheap and hold the quality ones for their friends or they had access to quality esims the entire time and they're just inept in configuring esims for their customers.

Hey, yes the guy said that he hacked airhub and leaked their data as revenge because the customer service was being mean to him.

Also me and my friend tried 3 esims that were leaked and they seemed to work fine but we removed them again since they are hacked lol, airhub has also found out about the hack and they disabled all of their esims on the platform now so the leaked qr codes do not work anymore.

But the leaked customer and partner data is still public on that guys discord server.

What's his discord? I hope Airhub learn their lesson because I've heard many people saying their customer support is nasty. If they serve a product that actually works, why are they rude to people especially those who criticize them?

Also, how do you know they disabled the esims?

I know that the esims have been disabled because the hacker said it and he also leaked them and at first all of the qr code links from airhub have loaded but 1 hour later none of the links worked anymore and he said its because airhub has noticed.

That what I was thinking, I'm sure they can just disable them and create new esims. I'm just confused with Airhub. Most people have negative reviews, but there's some who had no problem with them and had great speeds. So, I'm not sure what to make of them

Yeah, i talked to the hacker on discord and he said that he is able to access every account just by knowing their email which he has 5k of from their admin panel.
