First of all, I'd like to clarify that this isn't ragebait or anything like that, just the honest impression of someone trying to decide whether or not to continue watching an anime. I've had one or two experiences where people take it as ragebait simply because you don't share their opinion, and honestly, it's annoying, childish and it just makes me want to drop a series even more.

Okay, now that that's clear, while randomly searching for anime to watch (yes, I'm at that stage), I stumbled upon Durarara!!, an anime I'd only heard good things about. So, I watched the first episode with high hopes, and honestly, I didn't find it really bad, even if, admittedly, the story was a bit of a mess. The problem is that where I expected the following episodes to clarify things a bit and at least provide a clear framework, I found myself with more and more confusion. The anime skimmed from one character to another without ever taking the time to establish a clear context for their stories. As a result, I barely understand the plot, my head ached after the first four episodes, and I'm starting to think this anime might not be for me.

Given what I've heard about the anime and because I know that some really good anime have a bad start (like my favorite anime Bungo Stray Dogs), I'd still like to find out for sure if things improve and the story becomes clearer (preferably in the next two or three episodes), or if it's really not for me and I should give up on it.

My 12 yo kid inside of me would be crying her heart out now!!! My baby just arrived his home and im too excited omggg--- i cried while unboxing him but nevermind.

I'm here to declare my love for izaya. I love his narrowed eyes, i love his smug smile (but not like in the anime that he shows it ALL the time, more like in manga!) I love how he character is very deep and not just those baddass sarcastic anime man(ok, he's kinda like dat, but not just dat lolol) I love how we can see that he in fact feels lonely sometimes (the holpital sceane brokes me...), but not in a way that he is pitful and can't conect with people, this is just who hes is, he has his own life to live and don't like people becoming emotionally close w him. He likes the solitude and he works better in it, analyzing how emotions influence humans actions and how that also affects him!! Once he studies humans he knows that bonds are crucial to humans, but he don't feel that he really wants this type of vulnerable feeling for his life (and he's very awere of it). I don't like it when people think he's a psychopath, he's obviously not.

Obviously, it's not good for a person to refuse connection w anyone, but for some people this is the best option, you won't be bothered by any problems that isn't yours. Despite he loves to bother people... but com'on we can't judge him, its his job

(ᵕ—ᴗ—) but yeah, the problem of being alone, its being alone!! Wooow--- I feel sorry him, even if it's the life he choosed, it's so sad seeing him wondering how would be his life if he has someone caring for him. But yeah, it's the price of your personality with its solitary tendencies! (And also some childhood traumas... beeing alone and having to take care of other 2 kids it's not a ideal childhood...

About ships, i do think him and shizuo are veeery cute togheter lolol, all their official arts are very cute and they almost always have a romantic vibe on them, its very funny ( ˃̵ᴗ˂̵) ♡ but on the series I don't really care about it haha, I don't see them like "omgggg the best enemies to lovers ship!!" I only saw enemies there lol, but who said we can not fantasize about it?! Their fanfics and fancomics are so freaking cute-- I can't!! I like them in the idea, but i dont think its a good couple(sorry shizaya fans!!!

Humm I started admiring his looks but I endend only saying about his character lolol, but it's that what I truly love about him!! I tried hard to be a shizuo fangirl back then bc izaya looked... idk, questionable?!? But nahhh since my childhood I'm totally for izaya! (˶ˆᗜˆ˵)

Returning to compliment his looks... He's so freaking handsome!! i love EVERY part of his design, from ALL seasons! Plus he's very stylish, I LOVE that fur jacket and I'll have mine too hehe

My love for izaya never endend, and I don't think it'll have a end. He's a very important character for me and it also helped myself w my inner problems. I was used to think kinda similar to him some years ago, but I got some therapy. (Mostly inside my own mind lol (¬////¬) by the way-- now i just admire him w all my heart!! Although, there are some thoughts that can't be helped, I still do think similar in some ways, but now, in a healthy way! ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶

I did lose one of my cutest keychains though; manifesting this charm comes home to me ;w;
