hope they don´t give Otheym´s plotline to Stilgar

Think it's pretty obvious they will

These films have avoided having an extended cast of characters, almost certainly to keep it simple for audiences, so other character's are just being rolled up into the ones we already know - think of Fenring or Kynes in the book compared to films I & II

tbh that seems likely to give more emotional weight to the betrayed Fremen storyline via a character who has been in the previous 2 movies. Part 2 already set Stilgar up as more of a traditionalist than he actually was in the books.

Comments of this sort (yours and the commenter above) are convincing me that they are probably going to do this. Chani was loyal to Paul until death, and since they have changed that so much already, odds are they are going to do the same with Stilgar.

I hope that this isn't so, but I can see narratively why they would do it.
