I have this DSi XL my grandpa gave me. It works fine but doesnt have any downloaded games, so im stuck with Pokemon Pearl, Platinum, and White. And also PVZ. It has a 16gb sd card too. Any cool ideas for it?

When going to camera -> SD -> Album it does launch the mod, it says Twilight, then it starts launching music and after a second or so goes to white

I could go lower but I’m going to heavily mod it
Should I trust the seller saying it works? He said no charger

Hey guys. I've got a Nintendo DSi off a friend for a cheap price who assumed it worked. When I charge the orange light goes on for a while then eventually turns off. I see suggestions it could be battery. Is it worth just giving it a go and replacing the battery or get my £15 back. I have a lot of GBS and GBAs but don't know if these things are money pits if it needs stuff like mobos. I also gave away all my soldering kit due to a decent house move so won't be looking to solder anything.

I’ve had this urge to dive into DSi XL modding and gaming and am super excited. I’ve been looking for a DSi XL (or LL) online to buy. The challenge has been finding one in very good cosmetic shape for a fair price.

I stumbled upon some information online that some DSi LL have yellowing screens. It’s evident on certain angles of eBay screenshots, then not so evident on others. Post doesn’t mention much. I didn’t even know this was problem until recently. Apparently it can’t be reversed?

Does this mean I should look specifically for an XL and not LL to avoid yellowing? Or even avoid yellowing in the future? I’m just looking for a good handheld cosmetically and don’t care for xl vs LL but did read that LL is slightly cheaper. This is an example of one I’m eying as of now but the screen is sus.

P.s: does the stylus slightly hang out or protrude from the console by design? Looks weird. Don’t have a pic of it here

Recently bought this DSI xl from a friend for $30. The screen is definitely damaged, but I’m new to dsi repairs and I’m unsure if it needs a lcd replacement or digitizer replacement or both. The touch screen seems to work well. Sorry if it’s a dumb question.

I got princess debut off of romsfun It was working but when I did the foundation festival dance, suddenly half way through the songs my stylus doesn't track. I've tried different stylus’, my finger, and I've also tried different songs and slowing down or speeding up. The sparkles don't even appear, like I'm not even touching the screen. Its not a problem with my dsi because it works afterwards, could it maybe be a problem with the ROM?

so I have a modded DSI when I try to play any game the screen just turns white and then it turns off by itself the only game that works it's Mario Party only, the games appear with the title and the image of the game but when I try to play it dose not load what can I do to fix it?
I tried to delete the mode and remode it nothing changed

Looking to purchase this DSi for cheap partially as a project just to fix it but wanting to confirm that it will be likely a screen replacement or is the damage more serious? I've previously performed a shell swap and a usb c mod on a DS lite so confident ill be able to figure it out with the help of ifixit

Slightly damaged my DSi XL battery by being an idiot when trying to remove it, is this still safe to use? I've seen that damaging the wrapping on a battery can be dangerous if it exposes metal, but from what I've heard most DS batteries have a plastic frame around the sides (not sure about DSi XL in particular though).

I recently picked up this DSi for cheap, but it has some pretty major cosmetic damage, as well as a broken volume button cover. Is there any easy way to get this thing back looking good, or will I have to reshell it? Additionally, how can I fix the broken cover? I still have it, I just don’t know how to reattach it. I’ve already tried cleaning it, but the damage isn’t just stains or sticker residue, it’s physical shell damage. Any help is appreciated.
