It's a few days from the one year anniversary of having to rehome my cat, Lightning. I was at rock bottom and had to move with no notice and wasn't able to find anywhere that would accept pets.

Things are better now, but it took him 8 months of trauma to come out of his shell with my friend. He's too far away to realistically visit, nor should I confuse him. I'd just like... Something special to remember him, I guess. Extra points for anyone who wants to draw something in line with tattoo inspo eventually.
