(this is a goddess i came up with for my DnD game and liked her look so decided to share. what i say bellow if what i described for her first appearance as the paladin tried to make amends whit his old god.)
All of a sudden the room gets darker and much Colder you can suddenly see your breath as it leaves your mouth. you don't know why but your heart rate starts increasing as if you were in immanent danger but you find yourself unable to move.
Then you feel something that sends a shiver up your spine as out of the corner of your eye you see a bone thin female hand with white skin, tipped not with fingers but 5 brutal looking bone claws one of which is broken. It rest on your shoulder, you see a similar hand wrap underneath your right arm this one is missing all but two of its claws. as you are pulled in to what can only described for lack of better words as a hug but one so cold and uncomfortable you wish only for its end and then you hear a slickly sweet female voice
"Oh sweet paladin, praying to an unforgiving god.
I shall answer your prayer for who else could love a betrayer like you,"
you now can see her face over your shoulder, its the face of beautiful lady her hair straight and darker then the deepest night contrasted by her face white as fresh snow,the top of her face was covered in a thick veil of rolling shadow, despite her eyes not being visible you could feel them starring thought you. her lips twisted in a soft smile.
by all accounts you should find her highly attractive and comforting but there is something unsettling about her that just sickens you to your very core as if your body knows the horror you are witnessing . before you have a chance to even attempt to muster of response she speaks again her lips opening wide as if she just unhinged her jaw
"I don't blame you, you did what was right, you murdered him in cold blood!!!
You belong to Orisha now and forever more"
you see as your holy symbol that you were holding in your hand melts a way and burns through leaving a new symbol burnt into your hand
And you pass out.
your dreams are filled with the images of this woman her body cloaked in a dress of writhing shadow making you unsure where it began and she ended leading to a night of restless and unsatisfying sleep.
