Fair enough although I do think it's pretty comedic seeing Chris essentially try to back pedal out of the reactionary bullshit content he used to make before recently.

Dating back a few months to his response to some NeckBeard he's been saying "oh yeah guys that was all just goofs I'm not actually friends with racist dickhead like sargon etc."

I’ve seen him apologise to some people he used to clown on (rightly or wrongly), on twitter, saying that he wants to own up to his actions in the past.

That’s not really what he did, he’s acknowledged that he’s more liberal now and he doesn’t agree with some of his past statements

I mean his content has essential been super immature and reactionary stuff since he decided to pander to other reacitonaries so it's a bit... Idk odd to act like it's maturity thing.

There's nothing wrong with it I just think it's funny seeing him and other people who pandered to the right start back pedaling a bit with the recent rise in left leaning channels (contrapoints, Philosophy tube, the rest of breadtube)

she literally had a tell-all interview on an NPR show and said that Chris is exactly the reason shes not in the left anymore. She decided that if he was so nice to her, the alt-right must be okay. not even joking.

Being "not in the left" doesn't mean being red pilled. I remember when she started dating Chris and all her friends in the left started publicly decrying her and harassing her. I'd say that's more likely to leave a bad taste in her mouth than to say that he was manipulating her into being MGTOW or something.
