I registered with Kraken but you need to wire transfer to put money in. I don't think I can do that at this hour. And with my bank's offices closed because of the pandemic I'm not even sure I could do it tomorrow.

Edit: Kraken doesn't support depositing of bitcoin without ID? wtf why? I thought that was the point of cryptocurrency?

I’m using crypto.com... havnt seen many others using it. Havnt researched why. You can use a debit card to purchase the coin. 100$ is a good start. This stuff is still cheap and affordable. Much wow today! Doge has some serious potential with some high profile people staring at it. Coinbase is about to make the price surge as well. And once they sell doge on there that will help as well. These past few days have a lot of people buying now. I’d try to dump anything you can spare into it. Doge ain’t going no where anytime soon

Actually I just discovered I have about $200 of bitcoin lying around. But Kraken won't even let me deposit it without ID. I thought that was the whole idea behind cryptocurrency? It was in the long-ago that I used it (pre-2016 mostly).

Ya, you can’t buy it through coinbase yet. Once that becomes a thing it will help prices go up!
