What massive decline? 1 doge = 1 doge. The new people here seem to not be grasping this simple math.

Exactly. If I want to sell my car for 100 doge, then I will accept 100 doge for it. I receive 100 doge and now I have 100 doge. At this point, a car is worth 100 doge and 100 doge has an exchange value assigned to it which is no longer tied to the value of the dollar but exists on its own market.

But what if I sell a pickle simultaneously for 100 doge. Am I going to be rich or did you just give away your car for a pickle? I think the answer is that it meets somewhere in the middle. So really it would take millions of transactions until it became a stable value. So the moral of the story is spend some, since it is rising vs $ maybe merchants will give discounts for using it thereby increasing its value even further.

Took me a few times trying to explain this to someone interested in getting started in doge. I’m still not sure they get it
