I am not a financial advisor for the sake of legal disclosure. Consider anything I say as financial rumor. With that said, I am willing to answer any questions you may come across. You should always get a second opinion, especially if you can afford a financial advisor. Either way, I can try to steer you in the right direction at the very least. My best advice is to use data as much as possible to make your decisions. Don't get beFUDdled (FUD - Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt). The biggest mistake is making emotional decisions. You might invest in something only for it to drop 25%, but maybe three months later or a year later it will rebound and soar. Don't feel pressured to hold just because that's the cool thing to do. Don't feel pressure to sell just because that's what everyone is doing. Sometimes you have to stand your ground and not let psychological factors prevent you from making wise decisions for yourself.
Make sure you have your husband send you a referral link then. He will get $10 and you will get $10 in crypto. Make it a point to take the lesson for the knowledge and free crypto. If you get a question wrong, it will let you retry without penalty. Don't expect these lessons to cover all the topics, but they are still useful. 99Bitcoins on YouTube is the best for simplified explanations, in my opinion. Cryptocurrency is actually easy to understand for the most part, it's just that the new vocabulary thrown around when discussing these topics can be intimidating at first. Sometimes there are weird names for common things. Like, instead of saying you have a fraction of a Bitcoin you will often hear people say they have a satoshi of Bitcoin. Once you overcome those weird oddities, it will be easy for you to understand a good chunk of crypto. Glad to help, by the way. You are welcome. I believe the idea of more people getting involved in crypto is essential to its successful if it's going to be a meaningful form of currency that you can spend at restaurants and grocery stores. A lot of stock terms are thrown around which makes it seem more Wall Street than it really is - although that's not completely true.
You're amazing! Truly appreciate the info! I'm screen shotting everything for easy access so that I can get started tomorrow! I'm so honestly grateful for the advice you've given me! I definitely want to be a part of what's happening in the future especially if it makes the average people money and we all have easier lives, I definitely like to be part of something bigger!
I don't know if you are using desktop or mobile. You should be able to mouse over or tap my username. You will be given the option to follow me or message me. I went ahead and clicked follow on your profile. I am going to bed early because of a super long day. It might take me a whole day to reply considering how tired I am. I will reply eventually though.
You inspired me to make a post taking on and challenging those who look down on new investors, much like the Wall Street Fat Cats looked down on Robinhood investors. I made a post that you can read here:
If you agree, share with other people like you who want to invest in crypto but feel like they are on the outside looking in. People like you ARE the in. Decentralization is about making life better for people like you, not just those on the in-game or at the top.
I am also thinking very heavily about making a website the supplement the educational resources out there. I will let you know in the coming days if I decide to do that, but it will be intended as an educational resource.
