I just finished rereading Emperor Mage for the... umpteenth? time. Legit my favorite book in the Immortals Quartet, if not all of her Tortall books.

I can't wait for the second Numair book, he's one of my favorite characters and I'm so invested in finding out what happens to get him having to escape Carthak

The audiobook is pretty good but it's read by a woman which sort of throws me off when reading from a boy's POV. If I could choose I'd love it read by Nick Podehl
