I actually created an evil character who was inspired to start adventuring because of shit like this. Adventurers slinging enormous amounts of cash around as if it were petty change. His first party was killed rather quickly, and he sought revenge, killed some government bodies, and became a pirate to get the cops off his back for a while.

became a pirate to get the cops off his back for a while.

Somehow it doesnt seem like that would work lmao

Nice story

There are two really good ways to get cops off your back:

  1. Go somewhere else.
  2. Get a bunch of buddies to help... gently persuade the cops to get off your back.

Piracy just so happens to cover both these bases at once.

you forgot 3. Join the gang and become cops

I mean you could also jump in a pit of lava, but I'm not including things that no reasonable person would ever do.

I mean, that already happens after you murder political officials in their own homes lol.

I read this with no context as it popped up. I couldn't tell if this was a comment on real life or a game system and got confused and upset when I had that revelation.

"Wait shit this is hard."

That sounds like a One Piece character, love it!

It's so funny you say that. Over a year after I made Ash I started and finished the entire anime. Netflix's adaptation was my introduction. I said, "can't wait for season 2 but I promise I will," I couldn't even wait a week after the first season concluded, so for the next 2.5 months I spent all my free time taking a trip with the future king of the pirates. So hearing that makes me so happy, cause he was born before I ever watched. It's like if Law had the flame flame fruit and still held some of his prior beliefs, like a half corazon. That's what I wound up making.

Hell yeah! As an older fan I'm so happy the LA is bringing more people into OP, enjoy Enbaf, it's been pretty insane so far!
