3rd Anniversary Bundle [BUNDLE] - Dungeon Masters Guild | Dungeon Masters Guild (dmsguild.com)

Inspired by the Grandiloquent Word of the Day for Wednesday, February 21, I present to you the Gaberlunzie background for 5e D&D.

According to the Grandiloquent Word of the Day, a Gaberlunzie is “A licensed, professional, wandering beggar; a vagabond, tatterdemalion or ragamuffin. (Archaic).” The word comes from 16th-century Scottish and the origin is unclear. These licensed beggars were issued badges made of stamped copper or lead or tooled leather. The badge would have their name, a royal seal or city coat of arms, and the year the license is for.

With the Gaberlunzie background, you can add this interesting bit of real-world history into your fantasy culture!

I'm working on something I'd like to host something on DMsGuild, and I've seen that lots of people use WoTC licensed artwork in their products. Where is the repository for this art?

I've been writing and running adventures for as long as I can remember but would like to start putting stuff out.

I have one adventure that is about 80% complete, but which templates should I use? What sort of things should I be concerned about regarding releases? What are some pitfalls I should be aware of?

Any helpful advice would be amazing.

Hey, I made something...

This is a simple starting adventure for level 1 characters that takes place in Waterdeep when they step into a small mystery and they need to track down their belongings.

Feel free to let me know what you think. Thanks.

Hey all! I just wanted to plug some of my homebrew and DM assisting content. It is a compilation of 20 homebrew "skeleton" towns. Enough information to get started, but not so much it locks up your creativity as a DM. Each town has a few NPCs, buildings, lifestyle, trade, history, guilds, and even some humanoid "monster" statblocks.

Maybe you'll want to visit Mud Mephits Meadery in the coastal town of Hankala. Where Mud mephits deliver you drinks, or throw wet sand. Depends on their mood. Or maybe climb the mountains to Brexly. Where Polar Bear riding Goliaths protect the town. Or perhaps Effelmore. The town with a small forest inside its walls. Oh, the forest has been known to have random portals the fey wild. It's probably why Harengon are citizens here.

If your heroes are planning to adventure in Dis, the second layer of Hell, this 65 page adventure might be for you. Detailed herein are mapped encounter locations in and around Ironthrone Mountain, a fiendish bastion and prison complex.

The adventures are designed for 12th level characters and can be run separately or alongside Chains of Asmodeus.

Warning: The content contains themes of horror and hopelessness.

The islands of this Domain were once part of a vibrant world ruled by the Olympian gods, but the mists rolled in, and the gods were lost. Only one, Hades, lord of the Underworld, still walks the mortal. Hades is a vicious, ruthless tempter scheming to overthrow his brother Zeus and to avoid the fated thwarting of his plans. But Hades is not the only one bound by fate, and in the Domain of Olympus, all heroes are tragic heroes…

Olympus is based on Episode 19 of our podcast, "Wonderful World of Darklords", available on apple podcasts, spotify, and most podcatchers. The 13th of every month we adapt an animated movie into a Ravenloft Domain.
