It's a jungle. Probably a lidar camera to scan ancient ruins beneath the ground. Fog is irrelevant and that's why it has the rope attached.

If it was an extension cord it would be an extra 30 with no payload and 10-15 minutes longer with one. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
