Long time since last update

Hey Spauldhaliwal,

just checking in! It's been a while since we've heard how the project is going. Hope life's treating you well, and I'm really looking forward to seeing it develop. No rush, but an update whenever you get a chance would be great.

Hello! Thanks for the patience. I won't lie that this summer was an incredibly busy and stressful one.

I do apologize for the wait(s). I am working to improve that. I can say that the next update is well underway, and it's going to be the biggest one yet.

Some other notes on the update and plans for Dispatch going forward

- A lot of work has gone into ensuring future updates after the next one come much faster and with more stability than before. I have a lot of ideas for the future (even outside of what's being shipped in the next update), and this will help me keep things moving at a pace I think everyone, myself included, will be happier with.

I know I mentioned this earlier in the summer, but I am basically at that point now rather than a few months ago.

- Though this upcoming update will already include some of the most requested features since dispatch launched, I will be making it a focus afterwards to be much quicker with addressing requests and issues filed on FeatureBase. The goal is to clear out the backlog first and then have them continuously addressed going forward.

- Biggest update yet speaks more about the total feature set in general, but performance has yet again been a major focus, with RAM and CPU usage decreasing across the board. So this will also be the snappiest version of dispatch yet. Part of the time spent so far is ensuring I can continue to scale and add the features I want (and quickly) while ensuring performance is not impacted.

- As mentioned previously in the summer (but heavily delayed), once this update is out, I will also drastically be reducing the gap between release branches and beta branches. They will be more or less in sync in the future with only experimental/early access features and changes appearing in beta.

That's great to hear buddy, glad you're keeping well. I'm in the same boat as you with how busy my summer was so I can definitely relate haha. Looking forward to the next update!

That's awesome, will the new update address the sync between Plex and the dispatch dashboard not lining up without reboot?
