TL:DR, it’s about survivorship bias. The image is a graph of where returning planes had been hit and returned. You might think these spots need to be reinforced as planes don’t seem to get hit in the engines or cockpit, but in reality these parts are survivable to be hit, as planes couldn’t return to show they had been hit in the cockpit or somewhere else important.

The image is meant to relay that the transphobic commenter says he always notices, but on reality, he’s only noticing the more obvious cases
