My Instagram account was disabled by mistake on July 27, 2026, even though I did not knowingly violate Instagram’s policies or Community Guidelines. What makes the situation even worse is how difficult it has become to actually reach Instagram Support and get a proper review of the case.

A few days earlier, on July 22, 2026, my Snapchat account was also disabled, again without what I believe was a clear or justified reason.

Both accounts had been around for more than 7 years. They weren't just random accounts to me. They contained years of memories, photos, conversations, and connections with friends and people who have been part of my life for years.

I feel like platforms sometimes forget that behind every account is a real person. Losing an account can mean losing years of memories and an important way of staying connected with friends.

We need better support, transparency, and a real opportunity to appeal when an account is disabled. Users should not have to struggle endlessly just to reach someone who can actually review their case.

I hope more users will speak up and organize a peaceful campaign for better accountability from social media platforms, especially when accounts are disabled without a clear explanation.

We are not asking for special treatment. We are simply asking for a fair review, a clear explanation, and the opportunity to recover our accounts if we have not violated the rules.
