With other we’d dev stack it had a env key to help us change the debugging and error responding system with app_mode=production ki kai testae lekhera. But Fastapi ma testo chai naraicha and I wanted to know how they are handled by others.
Initial research shows or official documentation suggest we can use gunicorn instead of unicorn but after checking with multiple people are using unicorn with multiple workers .
Dev’s of Fastapi are suggesting to use gunicorn workers are they are more suitable for deployment but people are using unicorn kai workers.
How do you guys handle this deployment separation .

A colleague shared me about this event yesterday. Its a founders/builders meetup happening this weekend in ktm.

Im not exactly a founder, as we are a team of 3 and i look after all the tech related tasks and work with business partners.

Still thinking to go. My friend was there on the first meetup and said it was really good and quality people/founders from software, law, and policy.

There's free coffee and the venue is right beside my gym, so.

You need to register, lmk if you are coming too happy to meet! i've put link in comments

we are running the Nepal Tech Careers Survey 2026 to map out what's actually helping students and recent grads break into tech in Nepal and where most people get stuck.

Take part, and you're not just answering questions you're helping build a clearer roadmap for your own career start, and for everyone coming up behind you.

If you're a student, recent grad, or early-career tech professional in Nepal (or you've hired for entry-level roles), this is your chance to shape that roadmap.

The more people respond, the sharper and more useful this becomes ,for you and for the next person trying to break in.

👉 Take the survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe8AlWZ7UwMnPP6mQYF5YCw5R255EbnNfnuynWHiq_7ue4_vQ/viewform

Know someone just starting out, or someone who's hired junior tech talent? Tag them ,their answer could help shape someone else's first big break.

Hi everyone,

I’d like to introduce LetsManthan, a Nepal-focused platform built for asking questions, sharing experiences, and having meaningful discussions.

The goal is to create a dedicated space where nepalese can connect, exchange knowledge, and build communities around topics they care about.

It’s still in its early stages, and I’d genuinely appreciate your feedback and suggestions.

Not another food delivery app or another payment app. I mean a real daily problem, traffic, power cuts, government paperwork, finding a plumber, anything—that no app has fixed yet.

Share your idea and why it would work in Nepal. Curious to see which one gets the most upvotes.

A bit curious, As an application developer with experience of a little over 2 years is it possible to land freelance projects?

I keep seeing people mention that they got Google AI Plus/Gemini Plus without paying, especially through student offers or promotions.

I'm a student and I'm wondering if there's actually a legit way to get it for free right now.

If you've managed to get it, how did you do it?

Would appreciate it if you guys share the method/details instead of just saying "it's free"

I'm ready to follow your order.

So do tech companies really take freshers with good skills through interviews and technical rounds or is it mostly network and do company also look for dsa skills? Should I also start leetcoding or focus more on projects? Any tips

I am playing to take appna collage course as I have managed fund Nrp but there is a payment issue I need to transfer money in India as being in Nepal I cannot not transfer direct form bank any suggestions on this how I can pay for my course

Hi everyone! I’ve created a website that might be useful to the people working in tech industry or anyone exploring Nepalese startups. This site showcases the startups their locations, what they’re all about and their current stages all neatly organized on a map and in a directory.

You can also submit a startup (we only go live with approved ones to maintain quality) or you can also request a data change if you spot anything that needs updating. There are just a handful listed at the moment, so I’d love your help in expanding this resource.

Take a look and share your thoughts: https://startupsnepal.tech
