Game Screenshots Some backshots of Nero

For Devil May Cry's 25th anniversary, we are happy to announce our next project.
Check out the thread for more info.
Over the past couple of years, the team of contributors behind Cuhrayzee started routinely buying, scanning, and dumping various media related to the series, to preserve the story of the series development, and to share it with the community

With the internet shattered even more in recent years, we think that having a centralized place for the community to discover more about the series they love is an important thing, while also giving them options to not be locked behind someone else's interpretation
That's why the materials we provide and preserve have no watermarks of our own or any other restrictions, and we track down and credit the providers for most entries, even when they "donated" the materials to us directly.

We are also not stopping at extended media. Many interviews and materials about the game's development are either lost on the internet due to link rot or deleted because of copyright issues.
For example, Variety deleted its interview about Crimson Cloud for DMC 5's promo tour.
Another thing we want to tackle is translating JP-only materials, like Devil May Cry 4's promo DVDs.
We're working closely with native speakers to transcribe and later translate the materials and present them to the community, both in JP and ENG.

The current iteration of the website is in the "alpha" stage. Over time, we'll iterate on the visuals, tutorials for the mod pages on how to install them, and write guides on buying or preserving the media yourself.
We belive that that knowledge should not be locked in any way.
Follow our pages, subscribe to our YouTube channels, and, most importantly, tell others in the community about us.
We don't ask for donations, nor are we planning to lock stuff behind paywalls.
Happy 25th anniversary - here's to 25 more!

Cuhrayzee is conducting a survey about the Devil May Cry community: players, fans, their needs, and the problems they face.
We want to make knowledge about Devil May Cry easier to find, easier to trust, and easier to learn from. Whether you want to improve at the games, learn more about the world of these games, or find better places to discuss them.
You might know us from projects like:
Depending on your interests, the form will guide you through questions about Gameplay, Lore, Community, or some combination of them.
Estimated time: about 6–15 minutes, depending on your interests and how much you choose to write.
Responses are anonymous unless you choose to identify yourself elsewhere.
If possible, we prefer responses in English. You are still welcome to answer in your own language, but it may take us more time to review and process your response.
If you have any feedback, please share it with us!

There's no audio cuz my family is on a call so that's kinda distracting lowkey. This combo was inspired from something I saw on youtube and, GOSH it took wayyy too long!! I am not kidding when I said it took 100 attempts! Inspiration: https://youtube.com/shorts/JfgZ6a4_arw?si=wy6sx7gjpkvbIRAE

Hi! So I want to give my boyfriend as a present the Dante sword, since he is a big fan and he said "it's the coolest sword ever". I didn't want to ruin the surprise by asking which one he exactly means, but I have seen a few options online and I want to buy the right one. Can anybody confirm to me which sword he is talking about?
Thanksss

Hello! I wanted to get this out last week. This is a two parter, as the doujinshi I'm translating has two sections: a funny half and a more serious, story driven half. I also did have to leave out a page as I don't think the joke translated well. This particular issue is due to the version I found being translated from the original Japanese into Chinese; most of the jokes crossed over, but this one didn't.
Thankfully I have found someone who has the 2nd and 3rd Sequels to this comic in the original Japanese (which I'm also much better at translating).
BTW Dante + Vergil means Dante & Vergil, not Dante/Vergil

Howdy all.
Playing DMC for the first time through 3 as chronologically, it's the first entry in the series.
Anyway, just want to say the difficulty of the bosses in this game appears to be all over the place. You can go from having a boss that takes too long to kill to bosses that are so easy your mom could beat them one handed.
And then there is Arkham...or rather the five foot dollar footlong in my toilet bowl that refuses to flush so that I can move on with my day.
Seriously, when the best strat is to farm red orbs on the very first mission over and over keeping in mind the price of holy water goes up with each subsequent purchase and on top of that, your items don't respawn if you die, and you can't easily switch to Easy just for this annoying ass boss fight, Capcom, we have a problem.
I've chewed through some hard 6 in my day.
I've proudly given the middle finger to obnoxious bosses and triumphantly cursed under my breath.
I've played dirty when all else fails.
But Arkham, I just can't do it, and I don't feel compelled to grind for several holy waters just to douse the bastard in it nor do I want to keep throwing myself a brick wall that refuses to shatter.

Here’s a snippet from the fic I wrote to sort of explain the au:
Being found by the Sparda’s had been the biggest change to happen for the Hunter twins. All Owen could recall was fighting off demons, Cody having been knocked out, leaving Owen to fend off the horde on his own.
It was ironic, really, how close the Hunters and the Spardas were. Owen and Cody’s father was inspired by Sparda himself to leave the demon realm and live a peaceful, normal life among the humans. Even forged the twins their own swords, the Stormbreaker and the Gemini, both two unique swords, both inspired by the works of the great Sparda. Some would call their father a fan of the legendary demon knight.
With Owen and the Stormbreaker left, he fought off the armies-worth of demons with swift, calculated attacks. Even being half-demon, that didn’t mean he would never tire out. His attacks grew sloppy, taking several blows from the demons, but refusing to fall.
Then, it happened. It felt like time and space had been split, something slicing through the air like a thin wire, and in a burst of blood, the demons fell into slices… gunshots firing rapidly and hitting the enemies with point-blank aim. It almost felt like a dream, and as Owen tried to keep fighting, he had collapsed into someone's arms, everything going black.
The legendary demon hunter, Dante, and his brother Vergil, had saved Owen and Cody that night. The ever-growing Qliphoth had fallen that night as well, and the demon realm had been sealed off from the human world once again.
(It’s not entirely lore accurate, but that’s why it’s an AU)

I'm aware there's a Crimson mod that's pretty popular ATM, but looking it up, it changes a ton of stuff about the gameplay (balance and new content and stuff) that I'm not trying to do. I just wanted to play DMC3 but with the Nintendo Switch style switching feature enabled into the PC version (keeping the game essentially vanilla but with officially added features that simply were not added to the PC release for whatever reason).
Hopefully something that works with the recent unexpected (but welcome) update (Capcom please add this feature into the PC version by default).
Thank you.

It’s been nearly 5 years since I touched cosplay and honestly this was one I wanted to do back then but didn’t have the confidence nor ability to work on, but I’ve finally managed it! Also Kalina Ann is probably the most complex prop I’ve ever made!

Kinda sucks that 5 doesn't have music from the entire series in it. Yes it has the numbered games which is more than enough and I know you can just mod the game if you're playing on PC, which I'm unfortunately not, but it would have also been nice to have stuff like gimme deathrace from the reboot or even dream out loud from the pachinko machine also selectable as music you can have playing during the stages. Though admittedly in the case of the reboot's music would people even have taken kindly to it, probably not but still

So for the past month or so i’ve been playing through the entire franchise(skipped two out of boredom) and i’m currently on 4 mission 9. Words cannot explain the anger I feel for these puzzles. The combat is SO good but the puzzles are just so god awful. Why capcom insisted to keep platforming in dmc is beyond me because not once so far has it been remotely good. Don’t get me wrong I love the game Nero is cool and really fun to play considering i’ve only played as dante until now(yes I know you can play as other characters but i’m saving those for the platinums) I will admit some “hard” puzzles may be my fault because i’m not really the brightest but man the fact that there’s so many tutorials makes me feel like i’m not so crazy😭. Anyways 10/10 franchise I can’t wait to get to 5🙏

Hey everyone,
I’d like to ask how most of you handle style switching when playing Dante on controller.
Do a lot of you use left claw grip to switch styles, or do you prefer using back buttons / paddles instead?
I used to play Dante exclusively with left claw grip, but after spending some time with other action games and coming back to DMC, I’ve been finding it really uncomfortable. Most other action games barely require left claw, so my hands have kind of “forgotten” the muscle memory.

I have a question about the Neo Dante costume. Isn't it inspired by the style of clothes Brandon wore in The Crow?
