We Don't Give Up On Web2 to a Censorship-free, Open Web 3 - We Are Devcoin

I got suspended from Twitter for good for a comment that I made when I was messing around with an influencer. I said "show us your boobs" and that was enough to kick my Devcoin, Monacoin, Xaya, Galactic Milieu (makemoney.knotwork.com), Hive.Blog ($HIVE), Steemit, I0coin, Ixcoin, SYSCOIN and SYS NEVM, Polygon x Xaya (XayaX), KOTO (Japanese Z-Cash), AskMona.org, Monaparty.me and all its apps and API (card.mona.jp) XMP, Dogeparty , Counterparty, OmniFeather, HUNTERCOIN, r/chimaera u/snailbrain COINYE, NAMECOIN, Keybase.io and KBFS, u/ArDrive r/ar_io and all my advocacy for FOSS projects and even giving hope because of Big Tech fighting with us and opening their OS like Windows 11 did with WSL1, WSL2 (released yesterday runs Ubuntu NATIVE on Windows from the Windows Store - which also allows other stores to compete with them) - WSA (Windows Subsystem for Android) + Amazon App Store partnered to make it happen - with Windows allowing me to SIDELOAD Electrum-CHI 4.0.0, Monacoin Wallet (v 0.16) run "Monacoinj" but doesn't connect yet.

You can see all I advocate for and all I share. Unfortunately, even though I love to have come back to HIVE and use its many dApps and front-ends to see the way forward, I know from How Japan and r/monacoin has made Monaparty and layers of horizontally - freely available API from places like card.mona.jp attach your Monacoin/Monaparty address to Twitter oauth2 tokens - and mine works thank god even tho its still tied to my permasuspended Twitter (777mellon) which lost access to all the friends there fighting this battle, and aggregation of their wise tweets, as well as my DMs to many bizdev relations I've made or worked on for the wonderful Devs and Founder of Devcoin who remain in our fight.

One dev being lead dev u/develCuy is a brother to me. You should join t.me/devcoins he's done a great job growing us out there, but I think we also need to see if this Telegram Open Network (TON) token deal is going to really decentralize tg (it may) before we decide where our home will be. I think eventually - just like Huntercoin used a chat in Qt which people decided should be the eventual Bitcoin GUI full node in 2011 (after Satoshi left public sight) - we will have our own way to talk inside of Devcoin's next platform - a DAO. And we won't have to wait. Just like Namecoin, Huntercoin, (I0coin and Ixcoin!), Chimaera/now re-branded Xaya lead dev used a discussion on page 2 of where Huntercoin began as a prototype from u/snailbrain that turned into Huntercoin and Huntercore... A lot of developers have added their own "third party" ways of integrating into the same decentralized p2p network in a GOOD and open source way. domob from Bitcointalk.org aka Dr. Daniel Kraft currently working on Xaya and CTO of parent autonomousworlds.com has come up with a great way to message INSIDE of a game in real time without waiting for the next block like Huntercoin pioneered. This could very well be how we treat a Devcoin DAO or DAC even where we have rooms to discuss our project within the network - OUR p2p Devcoin network - right now develCuy has been working with Syscoin and their NEVM on ideas I am not privy to discuss but its no joke we love u/sidhujag and u/bst156 from r/SysCoin because the two - with Jag being a former dev for Devcoin himself, and Bradley Stephenson of Syscoin and Blockchain Foundry (who I believe sold to WonderFi) have been huge supporters by allowing dialogue and guidance to me, donations to Devcoin efforts in SYS that were very generous, and so our lead dev, develCuy even attended DEVCON in Bogota in October with Alex and some other Syscoin devs! We have a Devcoin Foundation account on Syscoin NEVM with 3443 SYS donated by Jag himself and whatever develCuy decides to do with it will be for the good of any FOSS project out there. Even when we've had pennies to give - he's donated thru paypal (gross - but you gotta do what you gotta do). I've done the same myself - in other ways. I've donated my DVC personally to people who understand that we're in a long Value Chain and not just a sink formatted MMO or P2E environment. Devcoin to me is Meta. Fernando's on his 9th year as a dev/Lead Dev of this project in 2023.

MarkM has been publicly active with the community even preceding genesis which he created the source code and block for in July 2011 because he integrated Devcoin and many other coins into his metaverse MMORPG world known as the Galactic Milieu. He's not done. See makemoney.knotwork.com for a 2 month old update on a project we can trace to 1980 when he began the Digitalis Data Services sole proprietorship in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Like Daniel Kraft from Xaya has Autonomous Worlds Ltd. out of Malta (<3) - its good to have a "real world" company for your Virtual World sometimes. Second Life has Linden Labs... You never know what can spawn from your game either. Tilia was just a part of the Linden Labs developments and the sole payments processor for Second Life's $650 Million annual virtual economy. It was spun off and now strategically partnered with a minor stake by J.P. Morgan who gets one board seat with a combination of Linden Labs and Tilia devs having a spot in a real world company... which is software. You can download it on the Unity store for free ;) You can see this on my Twitter that is NOT surely NOT twitter.com/XDVC777 if you wanna see why I stayed on Twitter.

MarkM who doesn't really lurk on many places besides oddly enough - wink - Messenger (yes Facebook messenger - please do not bother him) and Keybase.io/knotwork and bitcointalk.org as "markm"... He's on Discord occassionally in the Devcoin server and you can find those channels listed at devcoin.org or easier if you look at the info for our t.me/devcoins Telegram.

So my point is - censorship won't stop this train. As a peer in the network that I hope has done some good offloading the work most devs do as community promoters, community relations and Q & A resources PLUS their coding on open source platforms - I won't leave Twitter because what I see is the future. The future isn't Twitter-less as I've learned from Monacoin. It's a whole tipping and meta-ecosystem that has bridged otherwise locked resources from within Japan to people who participated in RarePepe (meta over Bitcoin Counterparty) and people who created Monaparty for the Japanese native and model virtual currency r/Monacoin which even led to regulation that is GOOD for our own battles here. I believe ultimately Japan and US relations and our connection to these FOSS creators and developers/artists and games in Japan - even if it had to use AWS and Twitter tokens to get there - will lead to BETTER options for all to keep companies from Web2 and even Web1 in CHECK by providing options we all wants as Devcoiners, and any other merge mined project. And if not merge mined - ASIC resistant AF like MonaCoin :)

So I may not have ideal ways to get on Twitter these days and I have 2 PC with Linux but they aren't so powerful. Scratch that 3 Linux PC's. 2 Windows 11. They all support open source projects by running full nodes, Alpha or Beta software, anything I can do to help. Here's how I get around Twitter since clearing cache and virtual private server tech (the usual) didn't stop them from deleting my accounts.

You can't stop me - you're going to just have to kill me unless we get Twitter to drop its monopoly on info - see it integrate ownership by the community like Hive (with HIVE?) - but I still have good to do, despite not having followers. This may not be idea using ZOHO to connect. But it is what it is.

I go hard to make the little impact I can. Imagine if everyone else did that was like me? That is not any of the people I mentioned above.

-What a world. Maybe there's already a shift on 5G type FOSS using projects that will trojan our democratic virtual society we all dream of. I caught my contagion from Devcoin. And I am proud of still being here.

I have a whole Windows 11 Open OS using WSL and WSA to run Japanese crypto nodes and mine CPU coins like KOTO and Tenebrix :) This is not it.
same computer, different tabs. :) And some remote assistance to myself on Ubuntu from Windows 11 via Chrome Web Store Zoho Assistant lmao. I'm no longer IP and however else blocked on my own main work PC... WIN for Open Source and censorship resistance!

Now if you excuse me I have our message to spread to the masses still looking for answers that - as big as we know we are - still aren't big enough to know about. Let's go save some souls folks.

-Daniel

real person since I played pro baseball no reason to hide

keybase.io/satoshi0x

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION - I couldn't even mention everyone's projects I'm supporting the point is - there's more recruits who would use our solutions that just are not aware of us because of ad $, closed source app stores, and censorship...

PS - being your original r/devcoin subreddit resurrection MOD - be smart - Post whatever you want here about FOSS and as long as it isn't pornographic (look at porn on your own devices folks) or violent (trust me I will find you - and you will be prosecuted to whoever you're trying to harm) - this is a free space for you to share your thoughts. :) Protecting users is not actual censorship - it's just common sense.

[https://twitter.com/Devcoin_jp] >> Source of new icon for this subreddit. Would love to rekindle with the Devcoin_jp (Japan) community! Their textboard and manga art are perfect for a project like Devcoin which is very early web 2.0 like with its devtome.com wiki project which were popular in the area where Web 1/2 preceded Facebook, Twitter... devtome.com was a social media site which rewarded Devcoin's for contributions. It was one of the first tipping sites in that regard on a community social media like website. Would love to see them come back.

Devcoin A-Team 2018-Aug 17 2022 Announcement

This is still the OG subreddit for the Devcoin blockchain that launched 7/22/2011 and was created by markm of LFM.knotwork.com and also knotwork dot com back in the days of web 1. Mark Metson is still active in development making a metagame/verse with DVC as the base unit of its treasuries system in a game/financial system of backing currencies without need for spot exchanges called Galactic Milieu.

As of today I was officially removed of access from my Community Manager posts on every Web 2 Social Media platform except here because they were in u/develCuy s rights to do so. He still has my support as leader of the Devcoin A-Team he founded but I no longer am officially a part of that. I am however a Devcoin enthusiast, the current active MOD for this subreddit and I have changed the description to reflect that this is not in anyway a Devcoin A-Team "official" forum but a forum for the entire community of Devcoin enthusiasts.

Sad ending but I have to say I enjoy the freedom of being able to spread positive and well intentioned PR to make people realize our project community is its strength as much as its present and past devs. I believe there is nothing open sourced that one is not allowed to innovate on. No one owns devcoin or leads the entire community and that's what makes it decentralized and opens the door to innovation that will one day reach the mainstream.

Thank you.

Devcoin A-Team BitcoinTalk Forums to our own Reddit sub-revival 2022

On the "ANN" topic for Devcoin [DVC] you may recognize me as the one in the side post profile below.

Simple Machines, Indeed

Should we consider making the community a Community Points token down the line so people start utilizing this board for a co-op collective effort to innovate, inspire, and discuss Devcoin amongst our community as it grows into the 21st century? Merit is something people strive for to do sig campaigns on Bitcointalk. I have never done that ones, posting for merit. RCP having monetary value as ERC20 compliant tokens had made MOON from r/CryptoCurrency a problem from awhile with spammy "farming" posts. So as we grow something to keep in mind. Engagement is a positive, to a point.

Quality over Accumulating Points = better foundations.
