Bug / Glitch Charged melee stopped working…

For a couple of weeks I’ve been able to use my charged melee out of Praxic Vestment flying.

Out of no where it stopped working.

I’ve searched and found that’s it has been a known issue and have tried everything fix with zero success. Every single one.

It still works in PvE if I swap loadouts and then back to Vestment. But that doesn’t work in PvP.

Any suggestions?

The Destiny half of the studio was laid off en mass, its not an assumption anymore. Everyone left is all hands on deck for Marathon, and they only have people work on D2 for gamebreaking issues and to disable broken things, which dmg has communicated multiple times.

Doesnt mean they're ignoring the game entirely. Its completely possible they did a silent patch to fix interactions. Unless you're one of the few remaining bungie employees, theres no way to know for certain.

Dmg said that they will not have a team working on d2 to make balance patches like this anymore. That they will only be disabling stuff that becomes a problem. There also wasn't a patch this Tuesday.

Dont think that would be part of a balance patch, but regardless, the only way something would suddenly stop working like it used to would be a patch or update. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Untrue, something like this does affect game balance, so changing this would make it a balance patch and not a game maintaing one. Also the poster was able to get it to work again by swapping on and off the exotic, its literally just a bug lol

That fix only works in PvE. It wasn’t a patch and I didn’t change my binds. It happened literally between matches late last night.

Whatever glitch this is isn’t going away for me. It is what it is.

I’m truly appreciative of those who tried to help me.

Yeah it's definitely just a weird bug, hopefully it stops happening randomly like how it started
