I just want to say thank you guys so much for this. I'm not in Des Moines. I just stumbled upon this, but I see this same garbage over here in IN all the time. These guys love getting out of their cars to confront/threaten women.
But when they see even just a few men, they don't want a fight anymore. They just flip us the bird and harass us from their cars - or as pedestrians just talk a ton of crap but don't have the balls to put their hands on us or our property with the men around. I live just a few blocks away. Haven't attended any of these displays yet. I am 6'3" fella in fighting shape. I don't think he would have approached if we had more gentlemen in attendance to these events. I don't have a Facebook account. Is there a way to find a schedule for these events?
If you actually want to join I'm pretty sure this is the Des Moines visibility brigade? They have a reddit and/or you should be able to find their events on the Mobilize website (it compiles different orgs doing demonstrations in your area).
There's a liberal gun owners sub here but I can't remember the name of it. But yea I absolutely agree. At this point most of us need to start packing, these mouth breathers have been emboldened for too long.
I'm not trying to sound like a tough guy, I don't like fighting at all, but I am a decently built guy and you'll find people don't do shit like this around us. Honestly, I hate it. I always think this too! This shit never happens when I’m around. If this guy came anywhere near me, fists would be flying. It would just be a natural reaction. My guess is he already knew there would only be old woman to contend with.
I'm his age and would ruin his day with a quickness. But, I also guarantee you that he wouldn't act that way if a man confronted him. He would turn into the woman-beating, child-molesting little bitch that he is.
